Fan cooled is very good, cause they don't run well when its warm, so your better off with liquid cooled

AGREED! I have an 05 550f... I live in Minnesota and it's warm around this time of year (40) degrees or so when im riding, on good cold days (20 and below) i only take 1 gallon more than my dad's 07 600 SDI BLIZZARD with the SLP pipe/can/clutch kit. but on warm days (40 degrees or so) i take 3-4 sometimes even 5 more galllons than he does... and it seems like it is overheating, cuz it doesn't get up to 75-80 like it usually does.

i don't like the new xr-s because they look the same as the 09 not saying the engine is the same. but it look like they took a 09 mxz with different decals. the 07 is better
