If you don't know then you cannot argue one theory absolutely or concretely than another. The Naturalist sneering "GOD DID IT!!" remark is saying something that is as sophisticated as a computer that will not work without each segment working properly together was put together by an intelligent designer
i completely agree with you. I find it so much more amazing to know that life came out of chance (we don't currently know how exactly - but we don't need to believe in a god to substitute what we don't know), than trusting a book that is outdated, racist, sexist, offensive in the modern day society, and written by people when we didn't KNOW science. That is basically what genesis is.

firstly they are not empty claims.
The main point here is: you DON'T believe it. Science isn't something you believe. What matters is what there is evidence for, and evidence shows these things to be true.
