1. no, she is just MUCH worse than tarja. Accept it.

2. my ears did not start bleeding, they are also much much worse. I had in mind to try to sleep. Now i just wont be able for many hours because of too much nightmares.

no! i do not want tarja back to nightwish, what´s done- it done. But i really do not have just to accept that a voice that never was good brings disaster to a band that was REALLY good at one point. Even if they sold the amaranth much better-it all sucks

I think the DPP lyrics have way more meaning, they're pretty deep, whereas with tarja, half the album was about sex sex sex, I much more prefer the band now, it's more human and friendly rather than, if you look at the "old" NW, they were much more wooden and robotic, just an opinion, dont hate ¬_¬

She wears them because she likes them. And i think that everyone who sings at Nightwish doesn't wear jeans and t-shirt in a gig you know. It's the style, and i think that anette would not wear those clothes if she doesn't want to.

She's slowly growing on me... But I'm afraid to say more because of her personality, not her voice.

She's a sweet girl, & she could be quite good, but she has to work on her vocal range & make her voice slightly mroe edgy & unique (not as generic as it is)

Tarja has a good voice... but opera only goes so far. Maybe being a "featured" voice... but I think Annette's voice is better for the music overall

Anette's voice is really good, but slightly too common for my taste. For me, the biggest advantage Tarja has over her, is that Tuomas could literally compose practically anything & she could sing it. It's rather obvious he had to constrict himself in DPP, & the songs don't have as many key or octave changes in them. It was my favorite thing about NW. I mean that now all the songs are more like Wish I Had an Angel, rather than Ghost Love Score.

Tuomas had composed everyting before they even knew who the new singer would be. So DPP is not composed to "suit" anybody´s voice: not Tarja (classic trained voice) nor Anette.

You must remember the reason why tarja have kicked out; she was an idiot.

She let pass trainings to get movie with her friends. Is that a singer you want? Anette is so in in this band and she would ever leave the band 2nd and take night with her friends.

It's not that I'm saying Tarja wasn't wrong, I'm saying I wish that the new singer would be:

1) A bit less generic. I don't have a problem with non-lyrical singers, but why not choose someone like Cristina Scabia who has a crazy voice range? Or Lacey Mosely who has a UNIQUE voice?

2) Someone who was a real metal fan, & didn't just jump aboard with NW because they were the first big band to offer. Her entire dressing & acting like it's her entire life is a bit fake for my taste.

Completely agree with Rotem here. Her vocals are just as good as any decent vocalist out there. Nightwish, in my book, has moved down from an excellent band to an ok band.
