  • Do you have to download a HD video editor when you edit a video for it to be 1080??Please answeerr xD

  • @HarryBeast1990 you need an HD video editor. Any of the latest versions of video editors out there will do...if the video editor does not support the AVCHD format then you cannot edit the video in that editor.

  • @knowbyte And do you know a free HD video editor?? ;)

  • @HarryBeast1990 hahaha nice dancing videos, you are soo cool*

  • @alexenova Well your vids suck

  • @HarryBeast1990 hahahahahah download a video editor i will download one 4 u tommorrow or tuesday moning, bye mongoose

  • @HarryBeast1990

you can do basic video editing on the YouTube video editor.

If you are familiar with Linux, there are free video editors like: Avidemux, Cinelerra, Kdenlive, Kino, and LiVES to name a few of the popular ones.

I don't know of any free video editors for Windows, though, there are some inexpensive ones like: Vegas Movie Studio, Ulead Video Studio, Premiere Elements, and Powerdirector which are pretty cheap, especially during sales, you may get them for under $50

  • What are the basic frame rate options? Can you record at 24fps?

  • @361DegreesShow no you cannot record at 24fps. But once you do you can convert it to a format that supports 24fps with your favorite video editor.

    Thanks for your support!!!

  • sry its ok its 1080 now

  • i upload a video with my cam on a other channel and its not 1080 its 480 what can i do

  • if you upload a video with the cam does it stay 1080

  • @blackopsmontage1000 yes, most of my recent uploads have been with this cam, and you can see their resolution.

  • does it record in 60 fps?

  • @DeAn02095 yes it does 60i, no it does not do 60p...a simple explanation of the difference between the two is that even though both are 60 frames per second, the 60i is "interlaced" meaning every other line is recorded, meaning as much bytes are recorded as would be recorded by 30fps at 30p, whereas 60p records all the lines, meaning it occupies twice the space (accordingly more processing power)...quality wise, some people notice the difference, others don't seem to.

    Thanks for your support!!!

  • @knowbyte ok thanks :)

  • same as i got ;D

  • @sk8forLf but i got 116 not 110

  • /watch?v=jKOMPK6BMRY

  • do sd cards lower the quality?!?!!??!?

  • @PotatoPlop no...though SD cards can compel you to lower the quality on the camcorder, because the sd card is running out of space. An SD card is not like a roll of film, it is like a hard drive, except without the moving parts. So you can store high or low quality movie/picture files depending on available space. If you take high quality movies, space will be used faster than if you take low quality movies.

  • @knowbyte thanks for the response :D

  • Do you know if it is compatible with Imovie?

  • @mattcurrie97 afaik iMovie 11 doesn't support native editing of AVCHD files which are created by this camcorder...although after doing some research it seems that iMovie converts the AVCHD files (in this case .MTS file type) to AIC file format and then lets you edit it that way. This should all be seamless to the user, apart from the annoyance of organizing your .MTS files but iMovie 11 not taking advantage of your effort, because it converts it to AIC and dumps it into a folder, afaik.

  • PLEASE REPLY! does the memory card effect the quality?? and what editing system do you use? i put the video of the cx-110 on Windows movie maker and the quality sux.. so yeah, i think that may be the memory card???

  • @americangirllover300 The reason the quality sucks is because you're using Windows movie maker. Its the software not the hardware. I use Sony Vegas to edit videos but there are a lot of other HD programs out there u might have to spend some money though.

  • @tkdtyler00 okay. I am using windows live movie maker and now it has 1080p hd .. thats good right? not all the fancy editing ... but.. yea

  • is this better than sd60

  • so do you have 2 of them?

  • can you have external mics?

  • @Titleification nope

  • @Titleification If You Want An External Mic Check Out The Cx305e.

  • Thanks I already subscribed ur channel.))

  • @GDEranga thx, your welcome!

  • I mean can video quality enhance from a software?

  • @GDEranga somewhat, but not from poor quality to professional

  • @GDEranga imo, no

  • @IJvevo i have a d90 and from my experience its not that great.. you have this jello effect when panning left to right..etc. you need a tripod

  • If you have to compare HDR CX 110 vs HDR XR 150, which one would you recommend?

  • @Younique99999 afaik, the xr 150 has a 120 gb hdd, other than that its the same

  • @knowbyte what is the average life on this camera?

  • @SKULLxSNAPS if you meant battery life, my experience has been that its around two hours of recording with the included battery (depending on brightness, and volume settings it can be more or less)

  • can you take pictures of a video... like video stillz

  • @brettBikes2 yes

  • hey i was thinking about bying this camera. i do skate videos and edits and wanted to no if this could have a fisheye on it. also if it can have a fisheye do u have to have an adaptor or will the fish eye fit stock thanks

  • Does it use a standard HDMI cable?

  • @kycruisecrazy It has a mini HDMI out port. You have to flip out the LCD to access it.

  • @rainerfilm Please check the playlist (named: Sony HDR CX110, CX150, XR150) on my channel, for all the parts. Thanks for your support.

  • Does it come with an SD card?

  • @funkyjared no it doesn't come with an SD card, but it does come with an SD/PRODUO card slot.

  • @funkyjared ok, thanks.

  • does anybody know if this camera is okay in weather that involves moisture like snow? i want to get this camcorder for recording snowboarding videos, but i need to make sure it can handle snowy condition.

  • @cjlaxman38 this camera does not seem weatherproofed. But its so small (for my hands at least) that I am sure there must be a weather proofing option available for it somewhere. I am currently working on a detailed review of all the features of this camera. So please subscribe, so you don't miss it. Thanks.

  • hello! i have the sony hdr cx115 and its exactly the same cam like the cx110!! The only difference is that it writes cx115...

  • @zmr5161 The difference is that the cx115 has an internal memory of 16GB unlike the cx100 !

  • sorry so many questions hahaha does it have good auto focus?

  • @makeupbymollyh I personally have no issues with it. If you watch the video you will see at many places how the auto focus works. I am currently working on a detailed review of all the features of this camera. So please subscribe, so you don't miss it. Thanks.

  • What camera did you use to film this video with?

  • @makeupbymollyh the same one.

  • Comment removed

  • @RosscoPikoTrain it does not, the built in mic is satisfactory imo.
