just a note, it's Loo eee Vee ton. Since you have such an awesome bag you may as well pronounce it right, I find the Vernis quite durable and not as fragile as it looks. I've been banging my Vernis Pomme dAmour keyholder and agenda around and they show no signs of wear or tear whatsoever--pretty amazing, I think. Long live LV

@libra1375 thanks for showing me love on my louis vuitton bellevue bag. and to answer your question the bellevue does not go on ur shoulder so the base doesn't get in the way under my arm. its a top handled bag so the base usually hits my leg, but i don't even notice the base of the bag at all.
