  • i'm just wondering why the big weight difference in the fedor and silva fight. it wasn't a fair fight at all.

  • @XBlackPropagandaX yup 60 pound diffrence and still could not stop him

  • Comment removed

  • Frankie Edgar vs Jon Jones!

  • Fedor's only 35!? He looks like he's in his mid-40's, those are signs of not having a good life.

  • i could be time to retire, if he considers it

besides that, he can still fight for few years

he has nothing to prove anymore, and maybe he doesn't love this anymore, and he has the right of choice

in his prime he would've been able to win this fight for sure, maybe by ko, tko, submission or decision, MAYBE with better training he would've been able to win maybe not, who knows

one thing is sure, he's the best of history, the most complete and dominant fighter ever

    long live the king

  • look how many other fighters has lost, fedor has dominated for 10 years, he has only to losses, its nothing, he just needs to train properly, wich he hasnt been doing, he will for his next fight. when he beats dan henderson he will get offered to fighter the loser of werdum overeem. he is still the shit, hes fedor. if u fink just because of two losses he should retire then u dont no nothing about mma period!

  • Fedor hasnt been training as he use to, he just just rileyes on his skills to much. Now hes gone to holland to train with hernesto hoosts to improve his stand up skills an has been said he is trianing 3 times harder than what he use to trian. people its only two fuc king losses wtf!! look at other fighters how many times have they lost?? only beucase he has lost 2 times every is saying retire no!! he has lernt his mistake, wich was not to slack in training!

  • fedor, drop weight, get faster, lose your camp, and dominate

  • FEDOR fight 205!!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK time to retire ?????? THE MAN HAS 2 LOSS randy is like 4o something and other older fighters have lost more WTF

  • Every fighter goes through slumps, every fighter looses. I don't understand why people keep saying that Fedor is done, Fedor is done. Ok he has two consecutive losses...big deal... He hasn't lost before that in years. It's normal, Mixed Martial Arts is has been evolving for years and Fedor has always trained only Sambo and Boxing... All he needs to do is train towards the evolution of MMA and he would be back! It happens to all Atheletes, in all sports. You just have to train hard and get better

  • fuck you all he will fight more and ofcourse will win!!

  • yeah cuz he sucks dick for fun

  • Fedor is my favorite fighter of all time, but to be honest a lot of his wins were from pride. The fighters now are a lot more well rounded and a lot bigger. FERDOR IS A UNDER SIZED heavy weight which is now becoming a problem along with aging. I hate seeing my favorite fighter dealing with such a size difference. pound for pound he right up their with the best.....

  • Fedor YOU ARE MAY HERO !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think it's a training/motivational issue. He needs GREAT sparring partners, new trainers, someone who will update him on new moves and do more of those circuits, kettlebell training and maybe some Deadlifts etc.

Karelin, Werdum, Roger Gracie etc would be nice + golden glory/ernesto hoosts camp or/and travel to the US and REALLY train!

  • Fedor in his prime would beat any fighter...

  • jesli tak czuje ze powinien zakonczyc kariere to tak powinno byc i tak bedziejesli fedor tak zadecyduje

  • i don't know i kinda don't see fedor in welterweight i guess it's becouse i'm used to seeing him fight with guys bigger then him, and about Antonio Silva fight, let's not forget guys his fight against Sammy Schilt, now those were some facts you should check out (size, weight ) So in the end i think that Fedor was just not lucky enough to put that sweet right hand in silva's head or maybe he just lost interest in the whole mma, not sure, but what i do know is that Fedor can take anyone down

  • I believe Fedor should carry on. Hes been the greatest over the years and just because he lost 2 in a row out of a virtually flawless record against the best fighters on offer ist not fair to say hes finished. I would bet Fedor has what it takes to come back stronger fitter and wiser, fight for a couple more years and retire a champion. Any fighter has to be on top of their game and in peak condition just to share the same cage with Fedor.

  • he seemed like he put on weight n not so fit in his last 2 fights. seems like he lost his hunger for victory from all the fame and money, n people giving him a god-like status. i think basically he needs to go back to square one, train full time at his hardest n give him some decent sparring partners. den have a few easy fights to gain his confidence back. THEN go back to claiming the heavy/light heavy weight titles. just like a Rocky movie;)

  • RETIRE A PRIME FEDOR WOULD CRUSH OVEREEM

  • i think any heavy wieght who knows a bit of sambo jejutsu could beat fedor easly, and thats why fedor didnt want to fight lensar ,lensar isnt good hes garbage but if he fought fedor he would win on him coz its ground and pound thats the style of lensar, i think he should go 2 lieght heavy wieght

  • shut up all, fedor was in his best shape when he lost 2 werdum, and bigfoot, and what does it have to do that big guys dnt have speed m8, ur just stupid, sience say the opposite, and bigfoot was faster than fedor, did u see the defference between the hands of fedor and bigfoot, fedor won on huge guys coz he used his brian not his strengh.overreem played with rogers like a dumble and rogers almost killed fedor ,fedor isnt strong hes just smart and have skills and i think fedor shouldnt retire ,

  • Werdum rematch could be a tossup but as for the bigger guys in the division like Kharitonov, BF, Overeem are too big & powerful. Good thing he didn't go to the UFC, division champion wrestlers would have abused him. Fedor trains hard for every fight, I just think hes not a true heavyweight & should make the cut to Light heavy or they should open a Cruiserweight division just for Fedor. The 230 bracket would be a perfect for him and fighters like Randy or Mir that are slightly too small.

  • guys after 10 yrs of winning god would lose not a man

  • He should retire or drop weight and do some LHW superfights. Size is a factor in MMA now, in all divisions. A small heavyweight like Fedor needs to be in his prime to fight the larger heavyweights in MMA today. Cain Valesquez is in his prime right now. Fedor is not, but he's still a good fighter. Look at how ineffective Cro Cop has become. Big Nog isn't even a shell of his former self in Pride. Couture even dropped weight because heavyweights were getting too big. Now its Fedor's time...

  • @FAON1886 I agree with this.

  • @FAON1886 or lose some body fat and get more muscle fat and stays in the HW

  • fedor sould not Retire just because he loss agin it dont matter he is still the best to me

  • It has to be that he's not training hard enough he dosent have that killer instinct like he dosent care whether he wins or losses but I know he can he still be the best even with brett Rodgers fight he looked like he could barely handle him he's never looked that way he's not training hard enough. He's still the best he if brings it back out of himself

  • He shouldn't retire, but he should drop down to light heavy weight.

  • course not he shouldnt! heis still a monster!! wtf is wrong with everyone???? the guy is a beast!!!!!! just cause he lost to a lucky triangle and then lost to a huge beast cause of his eye doesnt mean that neither big foot and neither werdum is better!! best out of 3 is more truthfull...all humans have their downs! and fedor knew only ups! he will be back to shock the world! either way he is a legend!

  • Bigfoot is on roids!!!!

  • Fedor should just get a retirement rematch with Arlovski...1-2..tap Arlovski in the chin and watch him get KO'd. Then if Couture's contract is actually up in the UFC...have Couture come in Strikeforce and for the final match have Fedor vs Couture.

  • Its more like the equivalent of Shogun vs Jose Aldo.

  • It's age. Randy Cotoure is a one in a million type of phenomena. Fedor is and always will be my favorite fighter. I too seen all his fights. I think he's just lost the desire. He's done what no one else will ever do in MMA fora long time and thats go what 31 fights without a real loss, and win ALL of his fights in AMAZING exciting fashion, never a dull fight.

As far as Strikeforce haveing any say whether Fedor HAS to fight. no. Fedor can retire if he wants. Hate to say but I think its time.

  • he was out of shape...hes not retiring btw...his coach said they will triple the training effort....fighting in Russian sambo in a few days...hes not old just Russians look older than they are...Anderson silva is a year older...Fedor just needs a better camp...he should train with Big Nog fro BJJ, Carwin for Mass Wrestling and heavy hand sparring...and Badr Hari for the fire...just my opinion

  • I don't think its a training issue, or an age issue. To me it was a Fedor issue. It's his style. He goes all out and tries to kill you. Look at the first round, he was doing okay against Silva. Silva knew this and took him down and mounted him, to use his size and BJJ skills with him. He didnt want to stand with Fedor anymore. Verdum did the same thing and got fortunate to catch him in a triangle. Fedor is still Fedor. The competition is getting tougher for him and these guys are way bigger

  • For anyone to say that Fedors speed has slowed down, does not watch his fights. He hasn't slowed down. The competition he is facing is much better and he is always outweighed. The difference between Fedor and other fighters, is he goes all out, right away. He was dominating Verdum and got caught in a triangle. He did well in the first round against a guy who was 60 pounds more then him. He was taken to the ground by a BJJ black belt who was more then 60 pounds bigger then him.

  • Fedor needs to drop 20 pounds and fight at 205! he'll beat the shit out of anyone! Fedor is not even training!! I personally think that Fedor wanted to lose unconciouslly! like he wants a break or something. I can tell something is not ok with him.

  • fedor is not that good if he was to fight in the usa all his life he would have way more losses and would not even of been champ

  • I think he should retire. Fedor's most valuable asset in MMA is his mind and heart which go hand in hand with making him train harder IMO. He may have desired success in his earlier career, but I don't think that MMA is his life. Judging by his outlook, MMA could very well have been a phase in his life, it was fun so he did it. Maybe he'll start fishing and become a prodigy at it like he was in MMA just because he puts his passion it. No one could beat Fedor but himself.

  • hes only 34 he shouldnt retire not for a long time hes still number 1

  • RETIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE

  • @theDracoIX lol thanks dude. It looks like a lot of people want Fedor to retire. Not as many as want him to continue but quite a few. Very surprising.

  • @TrevorHarris881 87 want him to continue

  • @TrevorHarris881 I don't think he should retire just yet. Just maybe switch things up. He did get pounded out by BIGFOOT, but he didn't quit, he didn't get knocked out.

Chuck Liddell needs to stay retired. His jaw is glass now, and he can't take punches. Fedor can. . I mean, Silvas fists would have destroyed, I mean literally, DESTROYED a lesser man. Like out, gone, comatose in the hospital. But Fedor was still ready to go to the next round. He could come back, he could still be champion!

  • He should prbably retire or move down to LHW....strange that he such problems with Silva when we know Arlovski went all 3 rounds with Silva, and he does not have a chin at all..in his prime he would have beated him like he did with Herring etc..

Looks like his stupid mistakes vs Werdum was the end of Fedor's career.

  • Yea little more in the mid section, he is getting older prob a little slower. i think he s not fightin enuff. cage rust. i dont understand how he let bigft mount him so easy.r why he didnt scramble mre when they hit the ground.he might b buying n 2 his hype 2much but he dont got shit 2 prove he did enuff. like 2 see the weight divisions change addin super hvy wieght or if he could make 205 b4 he retire.but if the fight didnt stop who no,s what woulda happen

  • No he shouldnt retire. I personally think he wasnt him self in this fight, maybe he has lost his fire, he didnt seem as strong as he usually is. I think he still has a few more fights in him, but then again the weight difference is a huge factor, maybe they should have super heavy weight and heavyweight i dont know.

  • if you watch his pride fights he was i bit bigger and i think e has defo lost the muscle. needs to gain some more strength before fighting more heavyweights.

  • This was his last fight on his contract. But I don't think he should retire

  • @SABWT2320 no bro he resigned another one before the tournament started.

  • @TrevorHarris881 he was in negotiations for a new contract he never signed

  • What is his record now, like 30 wins and 2 losses, with that in mind, I do not think he is ready to be pushed into retirement just because he had a two fight losing streak. This is Fedor's second career stoppage due to bleeding, he was always a bleeder.

  • @1sashenka 31 - 3

  • Fedor hates the octagon :) Not sure what his diet is like, but I think he has insulin resistance creeping up as he is getting older, which leads to higher blood insulin resulting in less muscle and more fat from diet insufficiency alone, and that is my hypothesis. I think his camp and training is good, but as he is aging he may want to clean up his diet.

  • 65p not fair

  • LISTEN TO ME, IF THE 2ND ROUND LAST FOR 10 MORE SECONDS FEDOR WILL WIN. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. SILVA CAN'T EVEN STAND UP, LOOK AT HIS FEET, THERE NO BLOOD, FEDOR LOCK HIS FEET THE RIGHT WAY, SILVA JUST CHEAT THE WORLD, THE REFEREE AND THE DOCTOR. FEDOR LOST ONE EYE, SILVA CAN’T WALK STRAIGHT. WHO WILL WIN IF THE FIGHT CONTINUE? THAT’S WHY FEDOR SAY “GOD’S WILL”

  • Fedor always had that body. u got the pics that prove it. at 34 ur not going 2 slow down much. and 4 the punches. u try punching sum1 4an half inches an 8 an half reach an the weight advan. while there punching at u. it would help if he lost 15 lbs. thats why we need the super hvy weight division 250 to 300 for the big guys who cant make 265 which isnt much 4 a guy thats 6 4 and up

  • @vandit788 I have to disagree with a couple of things. Fedor has been pudgier last couple of years, and he did slow down too for sure during this time as well.

  • Fedor needs to learn how to throw a jab again!!!!!!!!! Set some shit up instead of relying on the overhand right to connect all the time.. It's almost like he has watched to many vids of himseelf knocking people out with that punch and is relying on it to much... Back to basics and he will start winning again.

  • fedor is the best of all time in the day but i think he needs to change camps hes all ways been with the same camp though out his career were he is 1 demensional the organisations he works for m1 global have signed him over the years with above average ppl eg cro cop, nog cro cop has been torn apart in the ufc with an exception off throwing him a bone with eddie sanchez fedor must re ajust to the cage change camps and go to 205 and fight randy when he beats the natural he will be bck abit

  • 34 years old is like in football maybe is the time...u.u

  • it's not the age... 34 is a great age for a fighter, Antonio is 31, Werdum is 33, Overeem is 30.

the reason he's loosing is- bad sparing partners! bad diet! M1! too much religion!

  • Fedor should really think about moving to LWH, or else he himself would face unfair competition in the likes of overeem, bigfoot, brock or carwin, its because they are the new generations of HW, they stuff up in supplements, have special power training programs and above all they have learnt how to dominate a fight using their muscle mass.Fedor seems to be satisfied with just the conditioning and technical part of training...which is clearly nt enough for a HW.

  • @JasonZification I agree 100%

  • @JasonZification Supplements lol, that is a kind word. The truth is, put fedor and all heawyveights in the world on a island with just food and water,no access to hgh,igf1,epo,insulin,gene doping, testosterone and anabolics for 6 months and then let them fight. The UFC fighters and most of the rest would shrink 40lb and their testosterone levels would be like a little schoolgirls. Fedor would look, performe just as good as he always have, and he would dominate all of them. And this is the truth.

  • @deadlifttillyoudrop Ok i should have used the word "juice" i guess!lol.Though i don't think 6 months is enough because remember there are tests being carried out regularly(unlike in japan n the Pride days!), for e.g if u look at brock u can clearly see he is an ex-juicer(maybe since 3 years ago) but he is still carrying an incredible muscle mass and power, same for carwin and maybe reem, so the game would still be unfair even if they cut on the juice for 6 months or even one year.

  • @deadlifttillyoudrop However i believe juicing is not the only factor, bcoz remember coleman and randleman were also heavy juicers!I believe evolution is the main factor, all fighters should evolve through years, for instance if u put royce in his prime to fight in 2011 he will get destroyed!because he lived on BJJ only,i believe fedor has failed to evolve too,he is still using haymakers etc.and maybe the same training style, GSP is a good example of an ever evolving fighter on the other hand.

  • @deadlifttillyoudrop how about healing silvas problem of growing do you thing silva takes roids anabolic or something?

  • @eltona2323 he is acromegalic. from birth his pituitary gland over segregates the Growth hormone

  • @JasonZification That would probably not go well with his Systema mental state, which is Russian martial art Fedor incorporates, which explains his fluidity style of fighting, as he rolls with everything and his breathing is also from Systema. In brief, one should love his body the way it is and not force anything, losing weight would be counter that. Fedor is very spiritual and religious. Americans list Sambo and Judo in Fedor's arsenal, but Systema is relatively unknown on this continent.

  • @1sashenka There's some truth in that and i would believe Systema is also responsible for the "relaxed" style of Fedor and also his mental strength which i think is second to none in mma, however i also believe that Systema has its flaws too just like any other style and thats exactly the problem..it is difficult to implement systema with another style to close those gaps. Cause u can't "fool" people wiz just one style all the time..think of the downfall of the Gracies,Machida, etc.

  • @JasonZification I agree and mentioned to my friends before, how could Fedor keep doing the same thing for so long, and get away with it. Also, it seems, Fedor just trains the same for everyone and has the same plan, and it may be good if he trains specifically for the next fight just like everyone else does. He said himself, that he does not watch fights as he does not like it, and that may be one of his pitfalls.

  • @1sashenka Yep well said.In fact u knw fedor is a guy u will never knw what he is thinking or wants, the guy looks emotionless and doesn't talk. He remains a mystery to me. But all i knw is that the guy has incredible talent, i can't say he is the best pound 4 pound mma fighter(i think GSP is!) but i believe if he "modernize" his training he could no doubt be the unanimous no.1.

  • @1sashenka We must realise that today MMA has changed, today everyone is training in everything, you would no more have one-dimensional fighters such as coleman, severn, cro cop,big nog and royce dominating mma,u now hav mma technicians who study any style and new styles and develop a "cure" or gameplans against those, same for fedor, specialists hv studied his style and developped techniques against it, thats why i believe Fedor should evolve...well of course if he WANTS to be the best!

  • @JasonZification some great points.

  • @TrevorHarris881 Thanks man!In fact i like to analyse fights in depth. What i like about MMA is that it is like a chess game, its not like boxing whereby its the best boxer who wins, in mma u might be the best fighter bt if ur opponent sticks to a better gameplan perfectly he beats u.Thats why i think GSP is the best,he used his strength against a smaller fighter(bj),his wrestling against good strikers(hardy, alves) and his boxing against a good wrestler(josh).GSP vs Spider wud be awesome!

  • he should do what makes him happy, not what we say or his management or friends say, but what he wants to do in life. i personally dont want to see him turn into a mike tyson of mma

  • Once you get past a 220ish as far back as you go in the fight game (boxing) in particular. Fighters give up speed for power.

On the contrary Fedor's size and grappling speed has always been his advantage bigger fighters. He is outright OBESE and 34 years is far not old. NO he's not training properly. Circuits, hard sparring and hard running. Fact is Antonio Silva is big broodish HW, ideal match-up for Fedor. Maybe a trainer to push him? Lose the tub of Cheetos.

  • hahaha people are so stupid!!! Just because he lost 2 fights he´s already not good enough, and sudentely no longer matter that he spent 9 years invincible. But brock Lesnar, that only fought 8 times, and lost 2 of his fights (on the last one he got his ass kicked really hard), is still one of the top fighters. Are you guys doing this just because he´s not american?Or that´s just because you´re a bunch of spoiled children like Dana, who doesn´t respect anyone?

  • Cap the heavyweight at 240.Then let the roid boys get on with it.

  • Fedor needs to drop down to light heavy weight because he doesn't stack up with these giant roid monsters.

  • WTF? He sucks. No way he is a Pound 4 Pound force anymore, Most good UFC and STRIKEFORCE heavyweights can beat him.

    1. Junior dos Santos

    2. Cain Velasquez (same size, better shape, better skills)

    3. Alistair Overeem [(would have brutally merkd him) possible death]

    4. Shane Carwin, (Fedor would stand and get KTFO)

Perhaps even Frank Mir, Brock Lesnar, Roy Nelson, Hell I would even throw in Matt Mitrone to beat

  • @purpleflith and they're all on roids..... apart from Cain who is pure class - that would be a great fight.

  • @purpleflith ah ah ah

  • @purpleflith I don´t would be so sure about it. Fedor is Fedor is not possible to say something about his future performace. Anderson has 35 years old and is the champion. If you keep saying things like this I think that you you can get mistakes. We can talk about a lot of fighters and to try to imagine what they would do but, my friend, even he being in a bad moment he stiil can came again and show for everyone who really he is. A legend !

  • @purpleflith Look at the fight again, Fedor was doing great! He fought a bigger and younger fighter, he won the first round, second round of course he lost, but by decision of the Doctor at ring side? One more round, i would guarantee Bigfoot would have ran out of gas, as you can see on the second round how Bigfoot was breathing hard and looking at the time watch? Third round Fedor would have had taken Bigfoot by TKO!

  • i think some of his muscle has been replaced with fat which is why he still weighs the same he always has.

  • as long as he happy im happy, if he want to go its ok. but i sure would like to see more.

  • Look at Randy Couture!!!! He's much older than Fedor

  • It's not an age thing. At 34, he is still physically in his prime. It's that desire to win that he no longer has. That happens to everyone once their attention wanes towards other things in life. I think he should retire.

  • He needs to move down to 205. This isn't Pride anymore, the people at heavy weight are a LOT heavier than he is now. 55 pounds is absurd, and I think Fedor's prefered body mass is decreasing. He's getting a lot smaller and softer, which really bites you in the ass against someone like Silva/Overeem/Rogers. This is all, of course, if Fedor doesn't retire. Doesn't look like he has much motivation in fighting, but I don't know much about what's really going behind the scenes.

  • Fedor is a MMA god...like Igor gegard and crocop you guys can talk....FEDOR IS THE BEST!

  • If he wants to.

  • Fyodor has relied on supreme physical ability all his life. He is 1 in 6 billion when it comes to athleticism. However, the human body has its limitations. And no man can beat age. Fyodor's speed, physical strength and functional performance has declined at least slightly. And given Fyodor's definitive size disadvantage, that loss in physical attributes plays a huge factor. A prime Fyodor would have reversed Antonio Silva and broken out of Werdum's triangle. Yes, Fyodor should retire.

  • @IGOLDBERGI

    Great comment.

  • It's called age my friend. He is 34 years old turning 35 this year. Fyodor has been fighting for 10 years+ (MMA + Sambo). It is well-documented that the internal organs of the average human begin to decline after the age of 30 and so it isn't hard to extrapolate that Fyodor's physique is past his prime. The Last Emperor's legacy is cemented already. He is the greatest mixed martial artist of all time and is a humble champion.

  • @pilot1011....yes i agree as well, or i like josh barnett to upset , but he would be my second choice !

  • the new champion will be Sergei Kharitonov.

  • @pilotl1011 A in shape kharitonov is VERY dangerous....we will see!

  • Nooo

  • He is a fighter not body builder

  • he should continue fighting but at 205 . Most of the guys at 205 walk around at his weight so it should be easy to cut down. I have to disagree with you that he is the greatest of all time. Oke he smash t Herring,Sylvia,Arlovski but the other top he facet he won by decision BigNogx2,CroCop. and no i dont consider Randleman and Coleman top fighters they are 1dimensionaal fighters like most of his opponents or they were just Freak show fights.

  • @Lordskroll some good points. He is the only one to have an undefeated streak like that though for that long. If a silva keeps winning and stays undefeated for another 2 years or roughly 6 fights I will say he is.

  • @TrevorHarris881 yeah i say he is still the greatest heavyweight not of the moment but of all time for now. And hell yeah his winning streak is amazing. For me Anderson already is the best of all time. Don't get me wrong i really like to see Fedor Fight . And keep up the good work i like your mma videos.

    Greatz Form Holland

  • @Lordskroll thank you bro and thanks for watching and subbing.

  • I kinda had the feeling he was gonna lose realy.

  • i think everyone gets old... and some get older quicker.... but theres something no one can take away from him.... hes the mma legend period! saying that randy started his carreer at age 30 means shit.... randy needs to climb a million steps to get to where fedor has been.

  • The weight classes are definitely very unfair to guys who are built like Fedor, Mirko and others. It's a great shame for the sport that such guys are forced to bulk up and gain weight that will help them to wrestle with these super heavyweights, whilst they loose the agility and the ability to do things that they could normally do. Heavier Mir is a good example how a guy looses something when he bulks up.

Heavyweight division should be max. around 110kg. Then a super heavy from 110+

  • I was thinking Fedor's washed-up, UNTIL I saw the Silva fight. NOW I think Fedor has enough sheer talent to go on, if he just adjusts his style. But if Fedor enjoys his brawling style MORE than he enjoys winning, then he's washed-up in the head. If he thinks it's more embarrassing to fight cute and win on points than it is to get beat up and lose, then he may as well quit. He'll be letting his fans down, though! He could go on, and still be a winner, if he just wises up! I'm a fan of his TALENT.

  • Fedor weighted in at 230... BigFoot weighted in at 265 thats a 35 difference not 60

  • @jamesfeeneyiscool no, Big Foot cut down to 265 meaning no water weight and eating almost nothing for a week probably. They said on the day of the fight he was back up to about 290lbs.

  • @TrevorHarris881 Ok thanks for the clear up!

  • @jamesfeeneyiscool you got er bro. Sub if you haven't.

  • Honestly I think it's a mixture of things going against him these days. One he hasn't seemed to step up with the division when it has gotten a lot better than it was in my opinion. I think this was a mixture of size and skills in Silva, If Silva had no skills Fedor may have still won. Fedors wild style standup isn't effective against two types of fighters, fighter with decent standup and greater reach (Big heads), and one's with really good standup. I'm not shocked he missed, he swings wild.

  • PS let's not play up Silva's size too much, let's not 4get, Mike Kyle nearly finished Silva in the first round. If his head wasn't so big maybe he would've been finished. Mike Kyle was fighting at 219. This was more like Randy Couture vs Brock, who if you remember escaped the ground position. In conclusion I think Fedor should only continue if it's in his heart. If he would decide to quit after this fight, then maybe it isn't for him anymore. I do wonder if he could drop down in weight though.

  • @inhumanhyena thats a great point. This loss might be more about Fedor and his declining skills than Silva really.

  • @TrevorHarris881 Fedor's present skills are declining. But I think he has the talent to develop new ones. But if he doesn't CARE to develop new ones, so to exploit his talent now in different ways, then he's finished in the head.

  • fedor is the best fighter ever...if he would get a second chance he would finish this stupit "monster"

  • @hbq1000 I think Fedor's the best fighter ever ONLY if he goes on now to adjust his style, learning to win in new ways. He couldn't beat Silva again with the same wild and aggressive strategy. He's got to rethink his whole game, re-invent himself. But something tells me he'd rather just quit. Is that great?

  • we were used to see him going forward like a machine in his whole time in Japan. No juice, no Fedor. That's how i see it. Sure, you can say, oh he was never caught... Well no one was trying to catch him until he started to fight in the US. Only now in his couple last fights he is tested. Also not being caught doesn't mean he didin't do it. Just look at Lesnar and Overeem. Obvious long term use of illegal substances. Heavy use.

I hope to see Fedor vs. Cro Cop 2 :)

    The Cop wins

  • @MatejLovren interesting point of view. Very possible.

  • Since his move to the US he instantly got much slower, less explosive and generally weak looking. In all fight very aparent. Even his coaches said so. He even lost some weight in the US, in my opinion to try to compensate the fact that he can't use any illegal substances in the US. If he stayed fat like ha was always in Japan he would be even weaker, slower and less explosive, but still toned down he doesn't look like in good shape. Just not a great athlete despite the fact...

  • I don't understand how people miss the huge pink elephant. Fedor was never a great athlete. Ha was always flabby and looked out of shape. The main reason why he was able to do such incredible things in Japan was the fact that Japan didn't have any doping controls. Any fighter can take any substance. Basically it's impossible to fight at a tempo and do so many punches and kicks like Fedor used to do with his physique. Impossible. Just look at his fight against Cro Cop. He was like a machine.

  • @MatejLovren i dont think so because anybody ho takes steroids for a good amount of time becomes lean and muscular, fedor never had the lean steroid look, i'm not saying it's impossible but very unlikely.

  • @MatejLovren besides he was still extremely explosive in the tim sylvia fight, it was when he fought andre arlovski when he started not looking as good anymore.

  • I think he should either put on weight and kill cunts or drop to LHW and wipe the floor , one off fight wioth brock or cain and a 1 off fight with anderson silva who he would show whos the best .. the guy was beat by a cracking fighter who was 65 lbs heavier .. cummon what chance ?

  • He must retire now to be remembered as the greatest of all time!

  • i think he should retire...hi is no1 4ever :) but problem is he is older and he dont have eny motivation enymore.. but he is greatest...

  • Hi, You have made a couple of good points about the speed and the looks, but I can't remember Fedor looking ripped or anything like that, he has always looked a bit chubby here and there. The weight difference was huge in that fight and Fedor's speed which has been his the most important weapon wasn't there. As a smaller guy you don't have anything to fall back on. It happens that someday you wake up in the morning and you are not the same person physically any more, time is really cruel to us.

  • this is the nature you win and you will lose it happens to any one, if it is his time for him to leave he should leave. he was a good fighter. but should always remember if there is a cow boy a better one always coming to get him

  • Its like Frankie Edgar trying to fight Shogun right now where Fedor is at in the new era of Super HW with legit skillz.

Fedor to LHW He's only 34, He's barely 6ft, diet off hamburgers off gut. New camp.

    Anderson Silva age 35.

    Randy Couture age 47.

    etc etc.

Its up to Fedor hes already mega rich no reason to feel bad for him. He's probably thinking of reverting to spending more time with family and his church rituals though. We'll know in time.

  • Anyone notice when Fedor first started talking about god. He started to go down hill. Back in the days when he was wining he didn't even mention god. I don't think he want to fight anymore.

  • The only way Fedor can win is hit and move. Just like how machida game plan. Machida only go for the kill if he really see an opening. Fedor didn't expected that Bigfoot would go for a take down. If there wasn't any take down. I think Fedor have a better change in scoring for the win if it went to the score card.

  • silva came in at almost 290 lbs on fight night and fedor came in at 220 thats about 70 lb weight diffrence !!!

  • @vampirehunter714 he weights at 230 hes not a light heaviweight lol if you must know light heaviweights are 205 pounds lol

  • @vampirehunter714 haha it was actually not a 60 pound difrence it was only about 35 pounds not 60 lol

  • lmao who the fuck told your stupid ass it was a 60 pounds of difrence it was only 34 you fucking idiot fedor weighted in at 230 silva at 264 do the math einstein lol brock was biger than cain but that wasent enough cain beat brock u can use all teh excuses you want but the bottom line is fedor got his ass kicked get over it lets just hope hes smart enough to realise hes not the best and he wont be the 1 top heaviweight again so he shud retire or move to 205 simple as that.

  • @cristianoalejandro1 Nah Brock wasn´t bigger than Cain

They were about the same size man.

    Stop Bullshiting.

  • @enesog actally brock was heavier than cain so stop being a blind fuck

  • @cristianoalejandro1 yeah maybe a couple of pounds.

It was not a big size different like between Fedor and Silva you fucking Bitch.

  • @enesog it was about 20 pounds it was suppose to be brocks advatntage you ignorant fuck dont reply back you stupid ass 13 year old

  • @cristianoalejandro1 get the fuck outa here

what you know about fighting man.

  • how the fuck can you people say that Fedor lost because he is old??? Anderson Silva is older than him two years and keep on dominating everyone. Couture was just starting at the Fedor's age. That is a ridiculous argument. The fact of the matter is that Fedor just found someone who outclassed him. Silva didn't back out at his speed and fastness, he kept going forward and eventually put a beating on him. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Fedors nut huggers. BTW. BRAZIL RULES MMA!!!!!!

  • @deivisfsilva It´s not about beeing old.

It´s about Fedor is not as good as he used to be.

Back than he was a better fighter.

I think he´s still good . I would love to see him fight a couple more times

  • I'm sure Fedor's contract gives him a way out because i think Fedor knew his days were numbered with his body breaking down...he wanted to face Overeem sooner than later for a reason! So i would be happy to see Fedor again but i totally understand Fedor has been in too many wars in his career...his hands break almost every fight and he is not used to fighting in the CAGE where all these guys are beating him up against the CAGE!

  • I believe no one is to say that fedor can't fight as a heavyweight. In his career he defeated even bigger guys then Antonio Silva, he always showed us he can do that. it would be demeaning for him to move to another weight class.

It's just that his time has come, he should retire, he doest have the same agressiveness , speed , strength... age comes to everyone.

  • I would have to disagree with the weight issue here...Fedor has fought much beefier and taller fighters before...I also noticed a decrease in explosiveness and speed. I was just pulling my hair out when i was watching him do that leg lock on big foot and that did not do anything. I definitely think that age has caught up to him and it is about that time to step down. Every one ages differently.

  • @Zv3ruga so very true. Thanks for the input. Feel free to sub if you haven't.

  • @vampirehunter714 yeah exactly. That is just extreme man. He needs to fight at lhw.

  • @TrevorHarris881 you are an idiot...you can't just look at his age...Fedor has been in many more wars than any other fighter in MMA! Especially in PRIDE where every fight was a war even against bums...they were just tougher in PRIDE! Fedor also fights in Sambo half of every year. And he has a lot more fights than most people....look at 50yr randy...only has 29 fights...10 of them being LOSSES!

Fedor stopped weight lifting a long time ago idiot...so of course muscle mass is decreasing

  • hey silva was just to big if it was only 30 pounds difference he probably would win

  • @brooklynforeverr lmao funny thing is that it was only 30 pounds lmao

  • man...weird fedor that was...maybe he let it to be God will...hes not in shape 100%

  • @KOCOBO1389SERBIA I agree man. God really has nothing to do with it. The fact is he wasn't ready to deal with Silva. In terms of strength or speed.

  • @TrevorHarris881

34-35 is old for a top sport fighter he can better quit strikeforce and go back to the ring.

  • its like he isnt even trying his punches are so much weaker and his takedown defense is all gone its like hes not training any more

  • @GoldDougie I think so too. I don't think he is training at all.

  • Title is a spoiler you moron

  • @WolfForest22 boo hooo. LOL watch the fight next time. Don't come crying to me. wahhhhh wahhhhh

  • @TrevorHarris881 No doubt Fedor trains hard for his striking, kickboxing, ect. But for weight training and fitness he does not go that route like he use to.
