@frenchie: You are not telling the truth. These dogs are intentionally abused into aggressiveness, some used as bait dogs, and bad performers tortured and killed. These dogs started out as the American Staffordshire terrier and were crossbred with bulldogs, etc. The original dog was bred to be a nanny for kids. All dogs, if given love and proper training, can be great dogs.

I don't condone what these people did, but you all need to do some research before making ignorant ass posts. First off, the dogs are not forced to fight. They allow dogs that show the desire to fight to do so. It's called "gameness", a gene that has been selectively bred into APBT's for close to 300 years. A dog that won't fight isn't useful to these people.So, no, there is no "forcing" them to fight.

What is the entertainment value here? I think people that organize dog fights are not evolved as humans and therefore shouldn't be privy to the benefits of being allowed to remain on Earth with those of us who respect life, even minimally. Humans should be given due process, but since these people aren't technically human why not just take them out with lethal injection right there? No need for a costly trial, just euthanize and throw them in a dumpster? Isn't that what the garbage is for?

@91893pray If a human wants to be a victim, that's his choice for the most part. An animal isn't given that choice EVER. Why do you value the life of humans above dogs and cats? I have owned pets in the past and I'll tell you one thing, I loved them more than just about any human. If given the choice to save a stranger or the pet that I loved, I would choose my pet. And especially after seeing the cruelty that humans are capable of (as demonstrated in this clip), I feel even more that way.
