Why on earth would you think that you need to go to a man who claims to represent the God that dwells in you in order to hear from Him?

I listened closely to Mr. Bentley talk about What the Lord told him to preach.
He never said he was not to preach Jesus. What he said is that he didn't want to talk about angels and would rather only talk about Jesus. And if you listened to a few more videos you would hear the gospel being preached very clearly.

No where in scripture are believers instructed or encouraged to seek after personal words of prophecy from new covenant prophets. If you are a believer, you have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you. We need to pray for Tod and his family and not judge them. Tod did not blaspheme at all. Jesus heals through us, His kids and many people were healed during this revile, even if you don't like Tod's methods. Or agree with everything he teaches. None of us have all the answers or truth. Amen! According to Christ, we are to watch for false teachers in the end times and not be fooled. It also says that even the demons are capable of doing things of Light to trick people into following them away from the True God. After all, they have first-hand knowledge of the Light since they were once a part of it!! Todd Bentley is not of the light, whether he knows it or not. If he read his bible however, he would know who he works for and he should repent of it.

Yes, that is the one sin that automatically sends one to punishment, however, teachers of the false doctrine will be punished more severely than those who follow him. There is more to keeping your salvation than just belief. Even the demons believe, yet will be sent to hell. Read Hebrews and James. If you follow Christ, you LIVE His Word! If your fruits are unrighteous, you as a branch will be cut from the vine. Bentley is not righteous in his healings or his mouth.

Wow. Firstly, we are not to use curses, mario, have you repented of that? Secondly, we are NOT to save a soul, we are called to preach the Gospel...the Holy Spirit saves the soul. One does not need a theology degree to understand the bible (unlike what most people feel) all you need is the Holy Spirit to guide you. Christ CALLS us to make known the darkness (we are the Light of the World after all!) and make sure others see it for what it is.

And mario, a true prophet is one sent by God to ONLY proclaim and reestablish that which was already said in the Word. A true prophet expounds on previous prophecies (read the Bible), and should not make new ones. If he is led to do so, then those prophecies HAVE TO COME TRUE or he is false in all things. That is why we are told to compare all things to Scripture, if he isn't explaining old prophecies or his prophecies arent coming true..then he isn't of God.

Unless the Jesus that is preached fully conforms to the CHARACTER, PERSON and NATURE of Jesus revealed in Scripture, it is another Jesus - just a name, not the Holy Son of God. Todd Bentley's Jesus tells him to kick people in the stomach in order to secure their healing, and all manner of violent actions. That is NOT consistent with the character of Jesus revealed in the Bible.

The mistake(s) Odd Todd is making is that he is exalting Angels over Jesus.
There is NO Scripture references when taken in context that backs what Todd is teaching, so I follow the "Do not go beyond what it is written" {1 Corinthians 4:6} admonition of the Bible.

People don't come to see or experience God at these meetings,They come to see and experience the Todd Bentley Show.He is a shameless self-promoter.Whenever I see his videos he is constantly making statements like "and this happened when I was praying? or 'this miracle' happened when they were watching my show" emphasis on I and my.Very little credit is given to the Lord.Further more,the techniques he uses do NOT line up with God's word. Jesus never hit to heal!Charisma does not make him Holy.

The Devil isnt doing something God has not approved of.
The proof is in Job: when the Devil went up with the Sons of god to the throne nd got permission to mess up Jobs face (Twice) from God.
So we have a little problem! but your right in staying away, although it will be a little hard convincing some one who could not see from birth and can now of that observation.
And I doubt he would care if it came from the Devil or Mickey Mouse!

Someone made the statement that no videoes of T.B raising the dead were being shown...ARE there any videoes with T.B. raising the dead {REALLY dead..rigor mortis set in. no breath or pulse for at least 10 minutes}?
I would love to see one myself. No, I am not being sarcastic or rude, etc. I REALLY would like to see one...I just have NOT seen or heard of any such videos in existence...

I can't believe all of this hype. Mathew 24:24 for false messiahs and false prophets will appear, they will perform great miracles, and deceive even God's chosen people,if possible,24:25,Listen, I have told you this ahead of time. These are the words of the only person that I believe, and that is our Lord Jesus. This sort of healing is of the Devil and it is opening up the doors for the anti christ when he starts to perform his miracles. We are in the end times, this is what has been prophesised

luvgun, there is only one creator the God of Israel. The devil cannot create anything. How do you explain the creative miracles that we are seeing? Such as limbs growing out, a man seeing through his glass eye. A little boy who was bitten in his face by a dog. His face was reconstructed by doctors with over 100 stitches but they could not give him a tear duct. The other night this 10 year old boy suddenly grew a new tear duct and this little guy was crying for joy. His grandama confirmed it.

How does one tell the difference between the Acts "signs and wonders" and the Thess. verses?
REAL SIMPLE - If you don't preach repentance through faith alone in the work of Jesus, then your"signs and wonders" are false and you are a heretic...Todd preaches angels not Jesus {his own words}...so there you go!

I listened closely to Mr. Bentley talk about What the Lord told him to preach.
He never said he was not to preach Jesus. What he said is that he didn't want to talk about angels and would rather only talk about Jesus. And if you listened to a few more videos you would hear the gospel being preached very clearly.
You have very selective hearing. And quite frankly, you have a know it all attitude. Possibly a religious spirit?
From my perspective you are no different than the pharisees.

The Hebrews reference dealt ONLY with the salvation brought about by Jesus's ministry as well as death and resurrection...Yes, "signs and wonders" were done but by Jesus to confirm HIS work...Same goes for Paul and Barnabas with a Pharoah reference thrown...No, there are NOT new apostles (in the sense of Paul and the original 11 Disciples} today...

Eph 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers"
Does the word say the church will not have apostles, prophets....

Has Jesus left this latter day body of Christ without the complete five fold ministry gifts?
Please reference the passage or passages that SPECIFICALLY say that there are no more apostles and prophets? Or new testament apostles or prophets.

Why is it that only times "signs and wonders" is written about in terms on the "ast Days"is in the context of delusion and apotasy within the church?
Do you not consider blasphemy to exalt the message of an angel {fake one at that} over the message of the Cross??

The original meaning of apostle is "one who is sent" not a church office or CEO...Therefore, all wo are Christians are apostles.

The Lord will use whom HE chooses, and HE will confirm these things as HE has with me and so many others. Most of the responses I have seen here are denying the evidence that has been presented in this video, which has clearly been preverted. Can you not hear Father's voice? Are you really willing to stand up against HIM? Continue this rebellious behavior and the only sign you will see is the sign of Jonah.
