i love this song and i love imogen heap, just discovered her over this youtubez, but i have a question about this. at 3:46 she starts recording the layers of her voice so she can over-lap them, but i can't see any headphones. how is she hearing the music and making those crisp recordings without background sound or feedback?! mindBLOWN!

the answer is probably simply she has headphones on but they are wireless and under her hair. anyone know for sure? once again, imogen heap is a rare talent

Saw her live in a couple years ago. She was much MUCH more polished than this. I've heard how accurate she can be so a few flat notes here and there in this one didn't put me off much. It'd be a challenge for most pros to match some of her phrases so I'm not surprised she missed herself. If this is your kind of music, you owe it to yourself to check out her studio work first.
