Thanks for the video=), im destruc warlock, i was really confused with the stats, in WOTLK i use Haste>CRit>Spellpower and i did a lot of damage( 1-3 normal positions on recount), and in catalysm i was change the crit to the mastery Haste>mastery>crit, but i see i am doing little dps, and after watching this video i understand that my mistake, i have to use Haste>Crit>mastery, but i do not use hardly any HIt rating in WOtlk, and i dont like to use much hit rating in catalysm i better use Haste

I got really lucky and had a BoE epic drop for me (a chest piece- Dizzie's Whirling Robe) it has a yellow and a blue socket in it and the socket bonus is 20 intellect. Should I use the blue and yellow gems to get 60 intellect, 20 crit, and 20 crit or should I ignore the socket bonus and get two 40 intellect gems, (I'm not quite hit capped)

Surely you should aim for hit cap no matter what with reforging, gems and enchants. Then once you've reached that you can start going for everything else. Because at the moment I've pretty much just got a load of blue gems and I'm still not hit capped.

very very nice im a demon lock race orc and I have been putting mastery >= to haste while still keeping up great dps. right now im at about 19 points of mastery and 23% haste or something would you suggest any changes?

I saw optec has a 20 intellect socket bonus he doesn't go for with 2 sockets to get it. Why is that?? I thought you had said that if it's 10 int per socket used to get it, it's worth it. I had undestood a 20 int socket bonus wasn't worth it before watchin this, but the video seemed to say the opposite.

Nice guide, but I am missing a bit on the haste portion.

i.e.: rating vs. pct. and definition of "fully raid-buffed".

Maybe a "worse case" (DI only) vs. "best case" scenario (All possible buffs). IMO worse case is the most important, as this is where you are sure to get full benefit, even if you are in a slightly off raid comp (Not unlikely in 10-man raiding).

If you cant afford the new bracer Intellect enchant i would suggest +50 haste instead of +50 hit and reforge a lower stat priority (crit or mastery) to hit.

@BigLisy I have looked into this and the simple answer is... it depends how much int you sacrifice to get that cap. While the cap does give a significant dps increase it does not always outweigh the dps hit you take by not socketing int gems. For my gear pure haste is a large dps drop.

@zomfgkitty Idd and I say this in the guide. The only thing that higher gear levels really add to change the stat prios enough haste to overcome a haste soft cap. Also I say the modified stat stat prios following the spec specific haste caps. I wouldn't be so quick to judge the whole guide as useless because of this.

Thanks for the information! I've been gemming alot for +hit since I'm still in mostly blues, so keeping over hit cap is a priority. I also recommend using reforginator for reforging advice, although I've mostly reforged hit when I need it.
