People are not black and white, good versus evil. To see things in that way is to oversimplify things to the point of absurdity and narrow-mindedness. Marti has faults and Fidel has good traits, whether you can see or acknowledge them is something else.
@Frogstomp121 Try to explan this to the cuban people who live in the lowest misery: It is very simple admiring the socialism whne you have all in your pocket. There is no reason and explanation why somebody take the chance to live in a better way. Yes! In Cuba nobody dies in hunger but almost everybody lives is misery. The university is free of charge and a doctor earn about 50 dollars a month. Good job!! Go on with aplusing and excusing Fidel y su companeros!!!
I am not going to oversimplify things and say that everyone is miserable or everyone is happy because it's not accurate or fair. Everybody has the ability to create their own reality if not by changing their circumstances than by changing the way they look at the circumstances they live in. I don't care if a doctor makes $50 or six figures. You don't need money to be happy.
