cool car. Nice feature for my wife. I like better german cars (MB, Audi, Porsche, VW, BMW). IMO Lexus = Toyota = another Japaneese car (nothing wrong with that, very good cars) but lack of heritage (MY OWN OPINION). Again that is my opinion and not comparing cars. is like some people doesn't like onions, I dont like Japaneese cars.
I saw a mini documentary on these cars on dailyplanetclips dot ca and was incredibly interested. this clip was great but im wondering if anyone has test drove any of these and how well they actually work? thanks! :)

Im not very much of a fan of Audi, recently their styling has been fairly dissapointing. But I absolutly love the Rs4 and the Quattro <Mmmmmm...fast. But I mean cmon, the styling (especially from the rear the styleing has been second rate for a German car company, oh and tt is kinda fugly, ill take a Rs4 over it any day, but then again I do like the 350z styleing)
I'd be too scared that the car would go crazy and start going back and forth, hitting car after car, trying to correct itself. I wonder if lexus is liable if you get in a wreck with it on.
It isn't entirely automatic, you still designate the location for it to park. Once you let the car start parking, you control the brakes and the car just turns the wheel.
wow! an audi over a lexus. you must have a ton of money, i guess reliability is over rated, cause that audi is gonna be in the shop a lot. my 1990 ls has almost 200,000 miles and runs like it is almost new. i have had 3 vw/audis and got pretty good at doing some of the work on them since they were always breaking down. this is my first toyota/lexus, wish i had known how great they were a long time ago.
well i agree with you on reliability, my audi has not been spectacular, but i have done 40000km in 1 yr, and only problem was a transmission sound during 2 gear down shifting...fixed with a simple oil change and working fine for 15000 km now.
New Audi's are much better built IMO, and the drive at high speeds, handling, confidence in the snow/ rain is unsurpassed by any manufacture I know for the money.
Seems a little too far away from the curb to me. Thought it would correct for that? Required for cities with ticket nazis roaming around.

This technology is truly amazing...
But it would have been quite funny if someone took the spot he was trying to park in.

my thoughts exactly, about the liability, lol, it probably comes with some waiver about the parking tech.
