  • Looks like a carp...jk...nice fish...feel bad for the net guy but didn't look like it was his fault...hard to net a jumping fish by the motor

  • i would feel so guilty if i was the netter

  • Ive seen a clearer version and that fish is all of 20 lbs and if youve actaully compared the size of that fish to the motor youd realize how big it is. Probally not a world record, but definetally a lake record.

  • 17 - 18lbs . ..

    ThundaHog .

  • I think it was anywhere between 15-18.... I would need to see the body

  • NICE.. Check out my really BIG BASS, just click on my account or put BIG largemouth bass (MIKEY)

  • it wasent any bigger than 12

  • Comment removed

  • That was a nice ass fish but it wasn't a world record!

  • bad net job! i'd be pissed!

  • Hey can that net guy come with me on my next fishing trip???? I need an anchor for my boat!!

  • not a world record in my opinion. im Really suprised a world record has yet to be caught out of el salto...

  • i would of killed the net guy. thats not a world record but its like 18 pounds.

  • It seems to me the net guy had a bad angle on the fish plus it kinda of looks he hit the damn trolling motor too , i woulda thrown the guy in the water and probabaly run him over with the boat lol jk yea that suckkssss!!!!!!

  • wow you got a major league baseball player as a netman that must have sucked he nailed that thing of the line

it probubly coulda been played out too too bad

  • wats the song called?

  • i dont think it was even close to a world record. i remember when i caught a 15lb largemouth it could only slightly stick it's head outta the water to try and shake the lure, because when they get that big, theres no fucking way they'll jump that high outta the water.

  • and if you think i'm just talking outta my ass, check out some of the butch brown videos and look at how they fight, they never jump because they're too damn heavy.

  • They dont jump on Butch because he drops the rod tip down & cranks like a fiend. Every bass over 10 that ive gotten has tried to if not did in fact jump & my pb of 14.4 jumped twice hooked on a big worm. They can jump bro, believe that shit..

  • Seem's like most folks are wanting to blame the net guy! The real problem started with the angler not knowing how to fight a fish or recognize where the fish is during battle! I doubt a bass of that size , jumping that close to the motor would have made into that boat anyway!

  • ya net guy is swimming back

  • This is why, I don't let anyone land my fish unless I trust the person, if not I beach it or ask them to hold the rod while I land it. I have done it many times before.

Man that was a big fish. My guess, 17LB's. Give or Take.

  • That was a guide for Skinners lodge bro....He's got more hrs on the water in 1 month than you have in a year total. He'sa pro at lnding fish, he just needed a bigger net & he was probably amped outta his mind thinking of the tip he'd get if he landed the beast for his client.

  • @FISHFEARME2010 I think all it was that he got a bad angle. I hear you though bro.

  • @Peakay haha yes i caught a 13lb bass out of my pond 4 years ago i thought it was a turtle at first but i handed my brother the rod and layed on the dock reached down and bam! smacked me in the face but i grabbed it and little did i know it was a state record but i got pictures and a video. anyone think that fish could still be alive in my pond? we had a really bad flood 2 years ago (south eastern kansas area) think i have the chance to catch him again?

  • i would of kicked the shit out of that net guy

  • he deserves to be shot, but not killed, just shot

  • could of been a lake record maybe? its big

  • ES PARA ABERTE ABENTADO X ELLA

  • Dumass cant use a net

  • net guy knocked it off

  • Who is that idiot with the net??? Everyone knows you never try to net a fish, and get between the angler and the fish... Dumb-Ass, should've come on the motor side in, this way if you miss the fish the angler can still keep on with the fight...

  • I SAY ROUNE 13 14LBS

  • Well, when you compare the size of the motor to the bass, that fucker wasn't completely out of the water, and it got half as tall as the motor OUT of the water. It still had tail to go. Yep. One big mofo. Typically if I have big shit like that on the line, there's only one person that's gonna land it... ME.. That way I know that I won't want to kill whoever fucked up the landing if it does go south.

  • id throw the net guy into an alligator pit with just a net to fight them off

  • how can anybody tell how bigg that bass was all u could see is the head and ive seen 12 pounder with huge heads

  • That's the last time that guy works the net. I woulda told him to get out of my boat.

  • big frigin bass but not a world reckord ,id kill for it though

  • yeah, net guy= asshole

  • im not thinking world record but it was a very nice bass better luck next time but let em fight longer that fish had way to much fight left

  • Nice bass, but did you get the beer?

  • 17-20 lbs.

  • she wasnt ready to come into the boat he should have waited the man with the net wanted to show off and ended up messing up the chance of a lifetime

  • around 20 lbs

  • definitly not world record

  • was about 6 lbs

  • are you blind?

that bass was over 15 lbs

  • terrbile net job by his buddy. I would have been vexxed to shit

  • there's no way that fish weighed over 22-4, it was not nearly fat enough.

  • I do believe my reaction would be to throw the dude with the net overboard.

  • 5 pounds at least lol

  • lol you are stupid. that bass was over 15 pounds

  • Who cares how big it was; it got away...

  • amen brother

  • Actually, it looks like a real huge bass, prolly above 20 pds, easily.

  • 3 lbs. because the guy doesnt know how to net a fish.

  • did he catch the fish or did it go

  • i say like 2 to 3 lbs. lol

  • I'd give it 16 - 18lbs, no bigger!

  • I like the running water and nature sounds in the beginning to set the mood for some awesome head-banging fishing adventures... then the heavy metal guitar. ROCK AND ROLL

  • Thanks...

I composed that on Sonic Fire....

    RD

  • that is a big ass fish

  • Booger271. just shut the fuck up u dumb ass, i would love to watch you trying to land such a fish like that

  • I have personally netted a 13 at El Salto so they do get that big down there. California has some monsters for sure. But I have seen personally 5 fish over 12 lbs. come from Salto and I have been to a bunch of lakes down there. Mexico is still growing some big fish.

  • over rated

  • im gonna say 12 lbs max!

  • I bet your "net man" felt like a little shad and lost some sleep for several weeks over that. Never once have i seen a succesful attempt to net a leaping bass. Lesson learned.

  • land your own fish weakling!!!

  • dude who nets a huge ass fish like that?!?! learn how to net a fish...

  • besides lake el salto couldn't grow one that big. If there is a new world record caught, it will be from california, because they stock the lakes with trout there, which causes them to bulk up in the winter.

  • Mac Weakley - Dixon Lake in southern California - Google that. It should already be the world record but he didn't weigh on official scales.

  • Yeah they should have given him that record. There probably won't be another 25 pounder caught ever.

  • yea thats a huge bass im only 14 and been fishing for 8 years and thats pritty dam big the guy with the LA dogers hat is pritty big to biggest i cought was 10 pounds so double that and add another nice size bass thats 5 pounds and you got Macs bass thoses things just dont grow that big

  • not even close to world record size, that bass was long and skinny.

  • What in the world were they doing on El Salto with a net that small in the first place? They had it coming if you ask me.

  • pause at 1.46

  • nah world record is 22.2 lbs by George Perry in 1932 in the great state of Georgia.

  • no i dont now the name of the guy but i do now it was caught at lake ocachobie.

  • tightlinez i agree the guy couldve caught it lol

  • that a sweet fish

  • I don't know if it was a world record or not. I DO know I'd be throwing my net man in the water after that weak attempt. It looked like he was trying to at that thing to the bank!

  • i dont care much what the final weight was(well i do!but lol)that was a hog monster!

  • I'd have to say its pushing 20, not the record but its 18 to 20lbs easily!

  • it looks big but idk about world record

  • That looks like you could put 3 fists in that mouth! Just look at pictures of 15 pound bass. That's much bigger!!

  • we all know he didn't catch it so stop being all rully and saying its not a catch until its in the boat. I think we all know that.

Well about the fish.i dont think it was a worled record. it look like it was 12-15lbs though.and the net guy did not do that bad. i bet the fish was bigger than the net and it was going crazy. You are just do judgemental when u havent even hooked a 10lbs+ bass in ur life. so u dont know maybe it wasent his fault. but i know half of u ppl would not be abal to that

  • I hope he shot the dumbarse with the net.

  • Where is the part where he threw the guide in the water? I am a guide here in central Florida and I had a client break off a 10 plus pounder and he almost threw me in the water because of the line. Big fish though.

  • prob not world record but at least 17 plus

  • what bait - I am betting it was a Fat Free Shad crankbait, if not maybe a DD22...it was one of Bills fav. lures( mine too)

    Ranger Dave

Huites, Salto, Comedaro, Matos, their all good

  • that thing must be atleast over 17lb! holy crap that thing could swallow my arm what in jesuses name where u using for bait?!!!!!!!

  • it looks like a babay crocodile! hehe..

  • fire the net guy no more fishing trips for u.if it was a world record he cost u a million dollars.

  • that is a big ass bass..but i duno if it's record sized. it looked close though.

  • Idiots! How the hell do you miss something like that?

  • did it rip the net?!!

  • around 15 i think

  • that sucks

  • I think I would kill that guy...

  • The guy useing the landing net was a nooob. Who lands a fish like that? Let the fish get tired and pull him head first into the net dont madly scoop at a fish especially a big one. Lead him into the net then scoop. Most fish know what a net is and when they see a net and are not tired will go crazy...

  • i would have beat my partner sensless after that fuck up, dont think shes a world record by any means, but thats defiently a HUGE bass...

  • Not a world record, but regardless, it's a MONSTER

  • a que wuey se le ocurre meter la mariposera en la misma direccion en la que biene la lobina

  • What song?

  • your sidekick was a little slow with the net. too many coronas

  • i didnt see you catch anything... almost though

  • I think this video is a fake. The splash doesn't look right.

  • YEA DEFINATLY A MONSTER FISH BUT NOT QUITE WORLD RECORD. o AND U SHOULD THANK YOUR DUMB-ASS ASSISTANT FOR LOSING THAT FISH FOR YA.

  • Like Angler13 Id say the fish was about 18 pounds give or take. Salto has some nice bass for sure. Another killer lake is Huites...Bill and I have fished Huites many times over the years and stuck some real monsters...it is the next big bass lake I think....its so remote.

    check out Trophy Bass Lodge

    RD

  • i would've said the same thing."16 to 18 pounds" That is still a MONSTER bass

  • Where is this other lake called "Huites"

  • Lake Huites is about 3 hours North of Los Mochis Mexico. You can fly into Los Mochis from Mexico City or Tucson. Huites is a killer lake and Trophy Bass Lodge is THE place to stay.

I have seen 'wads' of bass off deep water points that run 5-9 pounds,,,,cast after cast after cast( swimbait bite)

I have seen many monster bass from 10 up to 15 lbs. on Huites( see tribute to wild bill skinner video) Many of the lakes are good but I love Huites best of all

    RD

  • In lake st-louis,montreal i caught a 6 lb SMALLMOUTH bass it was huge :O

  • the music is awesome

  • Thanks...I composed that myself with Sonic Fire

    RD

  • If that's a world record bass then I must have the second biggest fish in exsistence, at least 24 lbs. But with no evidence or proof just like this video, IT DON"T MEAN SHIT.

  • I'd say 17 -19 pounds. Not a world record. NICE fish though.

  • He did that on purpose, I would have layed him out.

  • 30lbs not 15 compare the 25 pownder to this one

  • i beleive i almost caught a world record bass it snapped my 30 lb line and caught it with a 9 inch suick got t at boatside then snapped line it was a huge fish... i thought i had a muskie :(((( world record wouldve been better tho...

  • yeah i dont think its a WR but a good fish nonetheless. the 25 pounder is not a world record. it could have been, but it wasnt kept and wasnt weighed on a certified scale. Although it did smash the previous world record, and i doubt that the guy's scale could be off a few pounds. Another thing is that it was foul hooked, but as long as it was unintentional it would have been ok.

  • hell no it looks like 15 only..o btw the net guy ur a noob

  • It only counts if its caught

  • It only counts if its caught

  • thats true if you go on google images theres a pic of the new world record bass 25 pounds search world record bass it should come up.

  • yea but it was foul hooked so it didnt count

  • oh i didnt know about that

  • wow net guy fails.

  • that's what they all say. (if it got away)

  • personally i would punch the net guy

  • Yes... the net guy must be eliminated

  • Shoot the net guy

  • the guy with the net should be chopped up and used for bait.

  • What was the net guy doing? That is why I do it myself if at all. My dad lost a HUGE musky in the same way in the 80's... My mom knocked it off.

  • its not caught, until its inside the boat..

  • I agree but the guy using the net needs his arse kicked. I would beat him to an inch of his life. Watch close he pulled the lure out of its mouth and lunged for the fish. Stick the net in the water let the fisherman bring the fish to you.

  • That was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • probably a 2-3lber., naw jk that iis a beast

  • easily over 15#

  • 15 to 20 if you ask me. still bigger then what i have caught

  • I don't think so

  • It looks to be about 15 lbs or so, not a world record, but still a huge bass.

  • I think they meant World Record dum-bass and not the fish! lmao!@)

  • the net man should be tarred & feathered

  • no thats not a big fish. 6 lbs at the biggest

  • R u crazy? that thing was a beast!

  • no its not

  • u r retarded go smoke some more of ur weed u hippie

  • Go VIKS

  • The guy with the net is a MAJOR dumbass. Worst net job ever!

  • that is freaking crazy i would say 28 inches and like 15 pounds

  • no ticky, no laundery.

  • Dude with the net would have gone overboard.

  • world record bass? you can barely even see half the fish at best! I'll admit it's big but over 20 lbs? no way.

  • I agree... I think he gets like 90% out of the water... so we see most of it. I'd say high teens too... like 15-20lbs.

  • I don't think that was a world record by no means but a huge fish none the least. To be honest I think the fish was in the mid to high teens at the most.

  • o my lord 20 pd fish +

  • that would pis me off if that guy knocked my fish off

  • What was he thinking!!!!!

Trying to swat that thing out of the air like it was a fly or something.

And it was a swat. Looked like a tennis player reaching for a low one. Freaking Pete Sampras or something.

Regardless of net size, you never attempt a mid air netting, especially when dealing with a possible world record.

    Oh my!!!!!!!

  • shoulda came the other way with the net n slower nice almost catch anyway

  • Net Man would been the next in the lake. should have took there time and lipped a fish that big.

  • how can it be a world record if it's not caught and measured? we will never know.

  • One problem -

I must point out that the net the guide was supplied was very shallow looking ...look at how much room is in the net to start with. That bass would have never fit anyway -I am not sure what kind of net that was...maybe a bait net of some sort?

At any rate...heck of a bass

I fished fished Salto as well as some of the other bad boys like Comendaro and Huites....

    They all have MONSTERS

    Ranger Dave

  • El Salto is legendary. I remember seeing some fishing shows there. What is it like?

  • thats a 48 hp moter by the way.

  • The net guy clearly underestimated the size of the fish. He netted not even half way down the fish and thats why it probably got off. I believe this to be a world record. I think this can be guaranteed to be OVER 20 pounds. It might not be completely the net guys fault but he should have been a bit more patient and maybe come from a different angle on such a fish.

  • Hm, I would take the net and do the same to the guy who tried netting that! Like masked sain, its a net, not a baseball bat!!

  • Boy, I'd nut up and throw that fella out of the boat for knocking my catch off the hook with that net if I was hooked into something that big! I'd feel bad about it later and go back for him, but it would take at least 15-20 minutes to come to my senses.

  • Dixon gave up a 25 pounder back in '05, but it was foul-hooked so it doesn't count. The actual record is 22 pounds 4 ounces, not 22.4 pounds which would be 22 pounds 6.4 ounces. It was caught in an oxbow that no longer exists, in Georgia. There hasn't even been another bass within 5 pounds of that caught in Georgia since. Talk about a freak of nature!

  • The guy with the net blew it.

  • i say that 1 is between 15-20lbs

  • for sure

  • the guy with the net choked! Just kidding, i've been there!

  • You spelled a word wrong to what is Iwhat i meant fish ok.

  • where you fishing, Kid? Dixon doesn't have it, you fishing OC? There is a 23 in the OC!! At least we both know there's big gals in SoCal, Mrs. Grammar teacher Raksaht, where you fishing? I'd still punch that guy in the face if he tried to harpoon a double digit like that with a net, holy christ! LOL

I know for a fact she's not coming from Arizona, and the clowns at Alahomo can eat a dick, stay in the desert jerkoffs.

  • the bass record is 22.4 caught in georgia DUH we have bigger fihs in cali though

  • I love it when someone tries to be a smart ass and spells stuff incorrectly. IWhat is a "fihs"?

Well, if you have a bigger fish than the record 22.4 Ibs, let's see it! You'd be famous overnight if you did... and rich. Let's see your fish bro.

  • 24lbs 7 oz if im not mistaking is the record

  • it's a net, not a baseball bat! geez, thanks buddy.

  • everyone can say what they want. No one will ever knwo for sure. All I know is if my guide did that with the net I would push his butt in after the fish.. What a horrible net job! Anyway for more fishing videos check out my you tube page. Thanks

  • HAHAHAHHAHA , damn right!!! I would have pushed his ass in to catch my fish! HAHAHA the guy tried to swing at the fish like a pinata!!! LMFAO

  • Who does this song?...Its awesome....
