ok, fellini was a fine smart director. he meant every seen and character, meaning nothing and nobody was coincidental. this to my understanding is a bild-up to decribing the degraded society in which marcelo come to despite by the end of the film...now, is fellini taking the piss out of celentano!!?? (you know, young italian, elvis wannabe, fashion driven...singing in english...
