Waiting for my second xbox 360 controller, i have allready set up the split screen and the controller config now, i just need to get a second controller into my pc, then....THEN! im going to set up a lan, my brother plays francis, i play...ol watsisname Bill and my Split screen partner plays as....the chick'O WAMMY! got my self 3/4 a team there :D

Well, I don't know. Maybe because it's dark and he's wearing dark colors and I was more concerned with showing how split-screen works rather than proving how good I am at the game.

As far as I know, it isn't possible to play split-screen multiplayer online. There may be a way to do it, though, that I'm not aware of.

Yes, you can play with multiple 360 controllers as far as I know. I probably need to do more testing.

hmmm...thats not really splitscreen..i think u got the problem taht u cant play the other player...because ther is just the other one as idle ^^... i think it only works with original 360 controller( i tried with a copy of it and original ) but anyway... nice :P

i can do the splitscreen, but i cant get it to let player one use the gamepad. I use a ps2 adapter for player 2 and it works fine. I try to use my rumblepad (pc version) as player one but if its plugged in I cant use the ps2 gamepad. Its frustrating. anyone know if its a config issue? Im leaning towards no because I tried to rebind the keys in game and the setup screen wouldnt recognize the buttons i pressed, but the menu was movable still. weird.

In that case, unfortunately there's no way I know of to do that. It would certainly be nice, but the 360 version only has 2-player splitscreen.

As my friend experimented the L4D split screen capability, he found out that you can play L4D with 2 Xbox 360 Controller while using the original "360 controller.cfg". It unbinds all buttons from the keyboard so you can play with your friend with 2 Xbox 360 controllers. At least it's fair-play (both persons uses the Xbox game controller :P)

hm, I am currently trying to do the same, and in the instructions i followed everything, except when i reconnected the 360 controller while in game, it wont change to player 2. Any solutions?

I had to unplug then replug my 360 controller several times for it to work. I've seen where others had trouble with it, too.

Are you referring to the split-screen mode on PC? It should be available to you at this time if you go to the link in the video description. If you're talking about them actually implementing it into the game without having to configure it yourself, I'm not sure to be honest. I hope they patch it in at some point though.
