i remember, after re code veronica people where getting bored with the games so capcom made an evolution to the game making re 4 and 5 with plagas instead of zombies but keeping the storyline and the characters (wesker, chris, jill, leon...) now people complain that it's not scary and it doesnt look like 1,2,3 and CV, sooooo capcom is gonna release RE revelations and operation raccoon city with no plagas and full of zombies. i hope you people will stop moaning after

I think that , the problem with RE4 and RE5 , was the "overpower" feeling you got from all the guns... you never did run out of bullets in a dead end , that's what get's me pumping. There wasn't that "tense" feeling to them ... at least in 5.

RE4/ 5 opted for a more action-based approach. The original RE4 idea (the 'Hook Man' version) was more like the early games. Games to have to develop or else they become stale. CVX was too similar to the first three games, so they went with a different approach to RE4.

thats exactly what i say. Alot of people dont understand that and just keep asking for the same game. Though the classic REs were enjoyable,you basically played the same game just in different locations and slightly different enemies.

@blackigor50 I disagree. RE4 was one of the best game's I've played and it was a VERY welcome deviation from the old RE formula. The series needed to reinvent itself to stay relevant as fans will only tolerate so much of the same thing over and over again.

its a great game but it is hard for resident evil newbies but if you could find a dreamcast emulator you might be able to play it on your pc, but other then that it is for dreamcast, GC, and ps2

This game is my least favorite of the series. Why? I don't know, I just thought it was weird. But my favorite RE game of all time is RE4, it was just sooo different from all the others. And I'm tired of people thinking that Resident Evil HAS to have zombies to be Resident Evil... well that's not true, to all of you people that think it does.... (I'm a girl). And I also think that this game had to much romance, but hey, we all have different opinions, right?

What he means is that as far as he is concerned it isn't a true RE game since it isn't really a horror title. It is much more of an action game, and to fans like him it is frustrating that RE4 is officially an RE game. It's like an FPS like Halo going third person but the next one being called 4.

i hate the 360, ps3 and wii but sorry EvilCashew, i have to say after playing on my friends brand new wii when he got his the gameplay was so retarded (with its slow response and quite bad coordination) so until they make a second one where controller can respond more softly, its shit. What did you play RE4? Sure the motion isn't that good right now. It is a totally new idea( maybe not new but the only system that has used it). I know the PS3 has all that 6 axis controller or something. I really don't like the PS3 but the 360 is really good too. I still like the Wii because it is fun. The only problem is the games. Not that many good games. Unlike the 360 which has amazing games. But think about it Halo 3 playing with the Wii motes. It would be kewl. Im sure ppl will disagree.
