@dobrarock No I did not hear them, I know what pick ups you mean though. Most of the alembic type sound comes from the electronics not from the pick ups, I doubt those bartolini's will produce the hifi almbic sound without the alembic (copy) electronics.
You have a nice alembic copy by the way, looks good. What electronics did you use for the bass?
@terrorisme88 sorry never used tabs. that little fingerstyle walk is just walking down in E minor from the G on the on G string (12th fret) down to E on the E string (also 12th fret)
@ramon709 mate, I'm positive your version will be alot better! For some reason I can't quite seem to nail the SC tracks that I want to do... Have you thought of doing Stories To Tell? Love that track.... SC, Allan Holdsworth and Stu Copeland, what a line up!!
@jonannlou Well, i'm not very good yet the Stanley finger solo's, never had the patience to learn that stuff, but his grooved I dig :P
Nah haven't tried that song yet, there are so many great SC songs to choose from, It's like level 42, every song they made you want to learn 'sooner or later' :)
@ramon709 Theres no way I would learn a solo note for note, I'd take ideas from it, but I've never wanted to be a straight copy-cat! Nothing wrong in it, but I like to add something of my own to see if it works :) Plus SC's solos are so damn hard!!
@jonannlou Well, I would like to get the hang a bit of how he plays finger solo's especially the note combo's he uses. When you hear a bass solo played by SC after a few notes you already hear it is Stan playing, because of his choice of notes even if he would play it on a fender or an other bass. But yeah, his solo's are fricking hard to figure out :)
@ramon709 well I know you have far more patience than me, but you are right, it would be nice to learn how stanley works around the bass. Agreed, you would know it was him on any bass, but the Alembic has the edge :)
You have this jam down cold!!.

@jonannlou Yeah I'm in a bit of a SC mood the last weeks, Songs I never could get right now suddenly go pretty well for some reason :)
Maybe I should give Schooldays a go as well, although I doubt I could do it like your version!
