Music has to unite! Especially beautiful song like this one (and many other folk songs on youtube). Why do people always begin to look for borders and nationalistic quarrels and division instead of seeing that music is bigger that the history of human wars and invasions. It carries the features that unite us as people. We sing of the same things, only with different melodies and rhythms. Just enjoy!
Can someone please give me the Turkiye Turkish or English translation for this song.? I had like to put subtitles on this great song so the 140 millon Oghuz Turks can understand also.
@31gore This region shall become Turkic once again,,,,,,, let's fight for that!!!! Kazakhs, Uygur people shall be set free.....Turkic brothers & sisters.....Say NO to China's occupation....
This sound Mongolian, seriously Tartaric with a slight overcast of Turks. I don't see why we should miss the point of invading Mongols whose soungs have no metric. This is nothing like Szerelem
@neobogard Ok, I'm confused. Why do Turkish people identify with Mongolic people? The only connection I can seem to find is a relationship between Scythian tribes (Likely descendants of Magog and Gomer) and the Kara-Khitan (possible an eastern branch of Hittites) who were regional neighbors and possibly intermarried. Is that why Turkish people identify with Mongolic and Altaic peoples or is there some other connection I'm missing?
@JasonCaesare turkish people are not the natives of turkey, they invaded and conquered it.turks are native to north west china, mongolia and southern siberia.kazakhs, tatars, kyrgyz, uzbeks, turkmens, tuvans, uygurs of xingjang china and many tribes of western mongolia are turks.turks of turkey may not look mongolic anymore because they have heavely mix with the natives of anatolia, but they are still turk in origin.
@JasonCaesare i'm not shore what that is,there was a kharachin mongol union made up of kipchak turks and mongols, but that's all i know.khara means black in turkic and mongolian.
@neobogard I'm talking about Kara Hıtay and Hititler...I think that's how you say it in Turkish. My impression was that the Hittite empire in Turkey back in ancient times and the Turkic and Mongolian people are one in the same only in different time periods. What you said just goes along with with because Greeks, Scythian tribes and Persians all left their genetic mark, but definitely the first people of Asia minor looked more like the women in this video.
@JasonCaesare i'm pretty shore that the hitites are the natives of anatolia and are a indo-european race.it's consodered wideley that the first time turko-mongol people came that far into anatolia was after ghengis khan, hence it was a shock to historians when they found mummy's in central asia that had mix dna of mongolic and europid people,,meaning they shouldn't of had any contact let alone mix together that far behind in history.
@neobogard Mummies you say? I hadn't heard about that, thanks for the tip, I'll look for that. So, where did Mongolians come from before they came to Mongolia?
@JasonCaesare it is beleaved that mongolians and turks share the same ancestry, and are the natives of mongolia and the near areas.as for the mummys, they are called the Tocharian mummies.
@neobogard Well, linguistically and culturally that certainly seems to be the case, but I'm talking about where the Mongolians came from before they were in Mongolia. For example, Americans come from America, but at some people everybody from the Americas had ancestors who came from somewhere else. Nahualt language bears similarities to ancient Sumerian, and Inuits are definitely from the same lines as Mongols. So, it stands to reason that Mongolians also had earlier origins, right?
@JasonCaesare it all dipends how far you whant to go back, from what i could tell, the mongolians came from the Donghu people, who agian, were native to that area.but if you whan't to go further back,it is beleaved that all altaic people, meaning turks, mongols, koreans and early japanes all originiated from the same people who once lived in central asia.
@neobogard How far back would you put that last part? The Hittites were called Khittae by the Egyptians and the Assyrians. There is only one historical record that I know of that traces the genealogy of the Hittites, they were said to have descended from the household of a man named Het (or Khit). I even remember reading an account once about the Hittites who came from the rising of the sun. You see why I thought Mongolic peoples and Hittites came from the same stock?
@JasonCaesare i can't realy give you an exact date on when all the altaic people were one nation, but it was befor the japanes moved to japan,so i'm guessing around the time when egypt was still new.as for the hitites being form the land of the rising sun,it's probably just their folklore, because hitites have a history of 1750–1500 BC in anatolia, and they are definatly a indo european race and not mongoloid.
@neobogard Its ok. What you told me about the mummy in Turkey was gold. If I can find some information about that, I can dig deeper into this. Thank you.
@JasonCaesare ancient mongol homeland is todays north eastern part of mongolia near the south eastern side of Baikal. then they spreaded into the west.
@WahrerDrache Kazakhs and Mongols share common ancestry and some vocabulary, but are FAR from being the same. This is Kazakh from Altai-Tarbagatai region of China. That region used to be inhabited by Oirat Mongols, until the Manchus & Khalkh Mongols wiped them out. Now the Kazakhs have become the majority in that region.
@czongy: The life will go by quickly Play and laugh when you are young You cannot be a life partner for a married person Even if you will be cared by him/her Life is short, the dream might end without even starting, Let's be together in happy youth Oh, how sweet life can be, Although bad and good walk hand in hand Some are rejoiced to go to heaven, Some are rejoiced to be a prophet But u r no cleaner than water and no whiter than milk In this world only babies are perfect
I'm Scottish, and even I have to say that England is far from a cultural wasteland. It's sad that so many English people are unaware of their wonderful heritage.
@MarvellousMuffin thanx! :D You should be proud that you are scottish too! You've had culture in the past, such as the monarchy before we, being the us that we are, snatched that away from you; however the Scottish still have many wonderful aspects of culture! Most likely more than the english!

It's so painful to see that you two fit each other well...
