hey guys, i have a 08 kx250f and it seems my bars are out of wack, like it looks as if the mounts arn't in proper allignment. the bars are on a slight angle, i no it dosen't really affect anything but if i can fix it i wil. could this be a maufacturing fault or can i fix it? cheers
Its probely your triple clamp. sometimes if your clamp bolts are loose then your forks can litterally twist in your clamps which would give the impression that your bars are bent. all u have to do is loosin up those clamp bolts and get someone to stand with the front wheel between their legs and just twist your bars like your turning until they are aligned!

Most 4 stroke head pipes will glow if idled for too long. That said, if you find that it's still glowing when riding check your plug to see if the bike is running lean. Nothing to get flustered about.
I think it's normal, it could be jetted a little lean. Is it in the dark when it does this? Is it idling just to warm up or are you talking it's already warm and you just are sitting there. Race 4-strokes like to be ran WOT all the time to keep them cool. They can't run low speeds in the woods or sit and idle for long because there is no air-flow to the radiators.

I'm driving a KTM 125sx atm. But I've tested the honda CRF250 and the KXF250, the Honda has more power original and are a few kilos lighter than the Kawa.
But the kawa is more durable and has a nicer power throughout the whole rev-range.
kawis r best.. dnt let ppl tell u that hondas r alot better cuz really there not.. ive had a kx250f 2007 for almost a year now nd no problems at all besides that i needed new bars but never any loose bolts or anything and there cheaper then hondas, lighter, nd needs less maintainance. besides honda weighs 227 and kawi weighs 204 nd have softer seat so u can decide but im stick with kawi nd its from personal experiene nd hondas tend to have lots of problem if not maintaining it well
i rode that bike over my friends its a crazy ass power full bike but i think that the crf250r had more power it pulled me up in a wheelie in 4th gear lol it was fun

I would get the 250..if you are new to the sport you have got to get used to the power these bikes can deliver..the 250 is a great bike..but if you no the clutch and gear shift and everything you might as well get the 450..but don't full throttle it when you get it!!

I'm driving a KTM 125sx atm. But I've tested the honda CRF250 and the KXF250, the Honda has more power original and are a few kilos lighter than the Kawa.
But the kawa is more durable and has a nicer power throughout the whole rev-range.

kawis r best.. dnt let ppl tell u that hondas r alot better cuz really there not.. ive had a kx250f 2007 for almost a year now nd no problems at all besides that i needed new bars but never any loose bolts or anything and there cheaper then hondas, lighter, nd needs less maintainance. besides honda weighs 227 and kawi weighs 204 nd have softer seat so u can decide but im stick with kawi nd its from personal experiene nd hondas tend to have lots of problem if not maintaining it well
