playing a bass is very different from playing guitar, in bass there is no strumming of multiple strings, only plucking, and there aren't bar chords or anything like that. guitar has completely different techniques. thats like saying the clarinet is the same as the flute or that the violin is the same thing as a guitar. violins have heads, necks, but is by no means the same as a guitar

thats called hes doin his own thing, being creative. but standard bass has no stumming involved. bass is meant to keep the beat and rythym of the song, not play a lead role like a guitar usually does. but in jazz music however, bass players who play the slap, tend to slap multiple strings. but playing a bass is different from playing guitar. guitar is much more complicated. by the way do you play an instrument. merry christmas

There is a big difference between the person who discovers a band they love from Rock Band or Guitar Hero, and the person who acts like a wannabe fan who only listens to the song that was on the game in question. - there were other people in the band Nirvana, maybe they want to make money off of it? ;).
