I like the video but anathema have always been about deeper emotions and not so..literal.

I think the "violence" the song speaks of is emotional violence, loss and grief. Death, losing someone you love and the violence of them being stolen away, leaving us shattered.

i agree with you sonyarostov...because i did that once in my life, when i was drowning in grief, confusion, depression and pain. i felt i lost my soul, my willing of living. somehow I won that battle and i'm strong now and thankfull for all i've been through. it's very hard to face our feelings but if we believe deep inside us, with just that little drop of hope in our soul, there's a way to win this battle.
