  • U r one dumb ass u have no clue about diesel trucks

  • @Tugengineer if you knew anything about trucks u would know that dodge has the highest rated pulling power

  • what's wrong with it? you mean..why is it smokin? because it's a diesel and it's dumpin raw fuel into the fuel injectors and bein ignited out the exaust..it's just unburnt fuel

  • not enough fuel ? to high rpms?

  • what was the timing at after it slipped out?

  • did you try to adjust the valves? nice cummins btw

  • Can't hate on dodge ford owns cummins

  • @tallicatube Ford does not own Cummins, they bought some shares, they sold them back, they have nothing to do with each other. this has been beat to death by Ford owners of past

    bottom line Cummins owns Cummins

  • they eat injectors up

  • My buddy had this happen just at a higher RPM...it ended up being his timing and valve springs were too weak for the RPM

  • I love how people say, "Because it's a DODGE!". I might take that into consideration.....if I was fucking retarded. Look, everything breaks once in a while, your precious Powerstroke or Duramax isn't gonna be invincible, so don't sit here and hate just because it's a Dodge. My family has an 02 Duramax and an 04.5 Cummins, I love driving both of those beasts, so I'm not picking one truck to defend, if you like your truck, who's going to bring you down? Keep truckin...

  • sounds like a two stroker

  • Ram this uo your fat fucking cheap ass Pussystroke and furamax how cute!

  • try advancing your timing to 20 degrees an get a fuel plate...the sputter is lack of fuel...cause my 96 12 valve did that with stock fuel plate an timing....once i did the 20 degrees timing an #0 fuel plate she just pours the smoke an dont miss a beat...hope you got bigger fluid dampers since you have the 4000 gsk

  • i looked it up and it turns out that its a dodge. sorry to inform you :(

  • timing JUMP??

  • i know its a cummins, but when u rev it . it kinda sounds like a 6.0 powerstroke

  • timing timing timing timing timing timing check your timing should be around 25 or 26 for the street

  • lack of fuel... check fuel system for restrictions( fuel heater bowl), and check tha timing.

  • @Tugengineer your mad because a cummins motor can make more power than a powerstroke or duramax and its only a 5.9L 6 cylinder you fuckin homo

  • there isnt anything wrong with it....that is normal for all diesels!!!! after they get high miles on them.

  • @TheSilveradoHD Wow oh so wrong, try again. Must be a normal thing with a Chevy but not with a dodge.

  • sorry i dont know man but i wanted to ask what size tires do you have on that?

  • advance timing, check fuel, dont free rev. drive it

  • get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for the return side of the pump and tighten it down. Im assuming you already have a fuel system such as air dog or fass

  • Sounds like a Harley Davidson

  • timeing ...i would have it advanced since you will be ther anyway

  • you're running out of fuel.... get a Air Dog II 165 !

  • @e36bimmerfan if he was running out of fuel it would not smoke....

  • @e36bimmerfan haha running out of fuel thats funny

  • sound like you need new injectors

  • your injectors or your smarty bad

  • its your timing set it to 16.5

  • you are pulsing your injectors and making them drew if you will. you need some stouter injectors.

  • It looks like an injector is leaking or a few are missing tips letting fuel pressure get by causing this problem. Better do a pressure test or revove them and look at them if you want to.

  • no the problem is much much simpler. the lift pump was going bad and not supplying enough fuel pressure causing it to inject wrong

  • wrong if it wasnt gettin fuel then it wouldnt be smokin dip shit! do some studying before you shoot your mouth off!

  • i dotn know who you are but callin someone a dip shit on youtube... wow you must not have a life. the problem is in fact and was and only no fuel pressure. the lift pump was bad everything else fine. the popping is because of it. i dont know exact details but i think its back firing and just because there is smoke doesnt mean there is no fuel, just not enough air. if its pumping tons of fuel then misses one firing then fine for 2 or three then misses again it can still smoke for those good ones.

  • my 1st gen did the same thing after 3000 rpm right after i put my 3500 gov spring in... with prince of darkness injectors. let me know the problem when you find out. i find it doesnt do it as bad when its really warmed up... NO i do not rev my truck to 3200rpm cold!!

  • hey Tugengineer. ive never had a ford or chevy pull my cummins yet. the 7.3 powerstroke is the only descent motor ford has and duramax has the good tranny. so id like to see whatever kind of truck you have pull tht one. or mine..bitch lol

  • I got an 05 6.0L PSD and I want an 04 5.9L Cummins

  • It almost sounds like the turbo.?

  • powerstrokes got so much more get up and go,the cummins seems to have massive power at low range and then sharpley drops off, the same reason why you dont see any doge cummins tow trucks,, Wait why is that??

  • all the tow trucks around here are dodge. well most of them

  • give me a reason that dodge sucks, or that the powerstroke or duramax is better

  • mine truck would stick (throttle) after i installed my 3gsk.... i had them to tight!!! measuring is bullshit!!! just pin lock nut on till u get one click then three more!!! do that each side!!! the tighter u have them the more rev posible!!! also my truck pops like that if i rev it cold!!! very bad!!!

  • @dieselcummins um how about you give us a reason

that powerjokes and and tampax are better

  • @dieselcummins I cant vouch for duramax, I hate them, but really a 7.3 could hold its own reliability wise against a 12v. They put both the 7.3 and the 12v in lots of vocational trucks, they are both very good engines. Now, the 24v and 6.0 and 6.4, ehhhh.......

  • @2strokedetroit AMEN BROTHER!!

  • @dieselcummins a duramax, especially with an allison transmission, is better than a cummins

  • @bigbadmucus I wouldn't be so sure of that 3 of my buddys in the last 2 years have had there allison transmissions go to shit on their Duramax's. One was at 70,000 miles and the other 2 were at 115,000miles and 135,000 So whats so great about the Duramax and Allison anymore?

  • @KTMFF3103 i still say their the best.you saying that doesnt change anything.urine

  • @dieselcummins well. dodges transmissions suck, and the allison is much better. but the cummins is very good, but progressivly less reliable as the newer and newer generations come out. and the new duramax's put out crazy power but idk about the reliability. and ford sucks period. with dodge, they dont make em like they used to. with gm, good tranies and have gotten more reliable, and the frame is the strongest of them all and is also leading in power. btw i have an 01 cummins with 281,000+ .

  • @DOGSTAIN007 i know people who have cummins trucks, and the trucks have well over 900,000 miles on them and still going strong.

  • @BROWNINGguns1 Over at UPS, some of the boxcar Cummins have over 1,000,000 miles on them, the odometer just rolls over so it looks like it has low miles :)

  • @7707Allen I know they just keep going and going.

  • @DOGSTAIN007 dodges auto suck! my nv4500 works great!!!!

  • @dieselcummins stop stroking an start cummin :)

  • @dieselcummins Cummins is not produced by Dodge you dumbfuck. You've never probably dealt with a Dodge engine, But when you do trust me you will see that Dodge is a fucking hunk of junk. Fix or repair daily is more of a Dodge moto then a Ford.

  • @14omega28ok you're a complete retard

  • actually it turns out the timing slipped out of position

  • @dieselcummins how does that happen?

  • @dieselcummins that happened to mine when i fixed my timing case because of that damn dowel pin lol....except mine slipped off by 30 degrees! lmao i got it advanced 15 degrees past stock and it runs flawless now and alot more power and get good mpg!
