You cannot disagree with cannabis legislation unless you have tried it. If you have never tried marijuana then you have no right to say what effects it does or does not have. Legalize Marijuana and take away some business from the greedy corporate Rx companies.

I'm sure they DO have a list, but they'll only come after you if they catch you rocking the boat (or you're Tommy Chong). If you pose too much of a political threat, they WILL come for you. If you're just a casual stoner calling your congressman, I wouldn't worry too much, but if you protest weekly, write for a pro-pot magazine, sell seeds, and run a grow-op, They will arrest you sooner or later. It's the sad and brutal truth...

When I smoke Marijuana my knowledge expands dramtically and the amount of things I have "got my head around" and solved in a way is amazing. I have gone through politics and I have solved that time and time again.

so i called the number 19734093274 and it sounds legit.. an automated message answers the phone talking about press # to place a vote for legalization of marijuana.. doesnt sound screwy to me.. i voted.. and its toll free.. go vote if you want it legal.. lets hope it works..

it does work but what that is is a hotline created by several companies ( prank phone numbers , ect) once they get a certian number of votes they send it in as a petision to congress and other government groups so it may help but well have to wait and see

p.s. there is like 30 or 40 maybe more of those numbers i wrote it out on the bathroom stall at work lol one week still there

I went to my congresscritter's office today in person, and aside from going for 2 things (cannabis isn't the only area where the government is screwing up -- I could have brought 9 or 10!). I was able to have a nice conversation with the staffer about the kind of savings and tax revenue we can get from becoming rational and listening to the adults (libertarians) on this issue.

I called my senator and representative. Chris Van Hollen just got back to me (MD/D.C. jurisdiction) in the form of a letter. He says that recently they reduced the fine in Maryland from $1000 to $100, but have not decriminalized the drug. He also voted to prohibit state funds from being used to incriminate medicinal marijuana users/collectors. It's not much, but its a start.

Marihauna is a plant, diffrent then any other plant because it does not bare its own seed. It takes two of a kind just like people male and female for it to reproduce itself...making seed through pollen and flowers. Kinda like a womans egg an a mans sperm . They mix and theres your seed. So no you dont have to buy it. It started with god its always been here. 100 years ago they started ripping up the plants. but thousands of years before that it was used to make everything, It will grow :)

if we get sweet mary j legal then were giving the government absolute power. by legalizing marijuana, they most likely use hemp for almost everything. it can be used as food, fuel, clothing, paper, cosmetics, paints and cleaners, and building material. So by making marijuana legal we're giving them, or powerful drug dealers absolute power.

OMG heres an idea... If it was just legal it would grow every were like it use to over 100 years ago. It would grow in our yards and in the woods and everywere just like the plant it is and is suppose to. If it was legal no1 could make any kind of money on it.. If it becomes legal your saying weed plants would just start to magically grow all over the place? Wouldn't you have to buy seeds? Yes, you would and seeds cost money. Though from what I here the plan is to regulate the market for Marijuana, meaning you can't just grow it without a license first ( if I'm correct ). So for the average consumer you will have to buy your stash from a store, or wherever they will sell it legally.

You hate dealing with stoners because people who don't smoke don't truly know how it effects people. I grew up thinking pot was bad but when I tried it I felt like I had been lied to. It wasn't as bad as the "taxed" drugs and didn't make me an idiot for smoking it. It's true that I get a little burned out but after stopping for a day or two I go back to normal. That's only after smoking regularly for months. Lung capacity also goes back to narmal after 2 or 3 days of not smoking.

Prescription drugs kill more people than illegal drugs every year. Smoking cannabis is no where near as harmful as smoking tobacco.
