Yes the ratties often have docked tails. Some have natural bobs while there are others who have full tails. Gigi, the white and tan rattie in the opening shot - and shown again later in the video has a full tail.
we rescued our rat terrier from a shelter...i would have NEVER considered a rat terrier before we adopted our dog..i just wanted something smaller so my son could handle him and with a short coat so that it would be easier to care for..we took our little dog home and he quickly became part of our family..This is a wonderful breed: full of energy and love! LOVE our dog..LOVE him!!

Some of these dogs appear to have docked tails. Do they commonly have docked tails? Is that for show dogs? Can you get this dog without the cut tail?
