Nah, they all are the same. Just basically, at some point player 1 gain more point than player 2, and at some point it's vice versa. Except for time crisis 1 and crisis zone of course, which doesn't have a second player.

Which red marked shots? The ones that the enemy shoots at you. If it's that case, you must hide when you see those. The culprit enemy that shoots that crisis sighting at you will be circled red.

getting the official guncon is quite hard, but some gamestores sell them. however it's best to get the third party guns seeing as you'll be able to switch to normal mode (for some PS1 games such as Project Horned Owl), Guncon 1 (for PS1's games like Time Crisis 1 and TC: Project Titan), and Guncon2 mode.
