Yes, the graphics do look a bit more pixelated, even more than on the DSi but that's just the consequence of using a bigger screen for games with a resolution that is optimized for the DS / DS-Lite screen size.

If you really want to get the most out of the larger screen though then get a media cartridge (like the iPlayer for example), the size works great for watching movies while travelling.
