The tape was unfairly edited. It didn't become a story partly because the people who reported the edited tape as legitimate were unwilling to do any followup on their incompetence.
@ThePoliticalMoose - How was ACORN crooked? My general understanding is that they'd been cleared of any legal wrongdoing. In both the alleged services to a fake pimp and the alleged voter registration fraud. In the first case, the case was thrown out and the tapes deemed "deceptively edited," in the second, no AG found wrongdoing. ACORN flagged the questionable registrations ("Mickey Mouse", etc) and brought them to the attention of authorities - exactly as they are legally required to do.
@ThePoliticalMoose If I edited a video down to a clip that looked like you killed your mailman. Let's say I released the entire video, yet also released the edited one. I'm surprised that, to this day, not even 5 or 10 ACORN workers have pitched in and tried to sue Andrew Breitbart, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles for screwing them over by way of slander. By getting an entire organization like this shut down simply because of deception and creative editing. If I were head of ACORN (or former head anyway), I'd have sued the HELL out of Andrew Breitbart and his cronies.
@whoo689 i agree w/ you 100%, but many folks - particularly minorities - do not have much faith in our justice system and to go up against the likes of the current right-wing money machine requires a big commitment and lots of faith and the best damn attorneys money can buy.
@whoo689 quite honestly the voter registration frauds are much bigger than helping somsone perpetuate sex crimes, although I wouldn't go easy on a person for that
@LeGioNoFZioN Remember that ACORN never committed Voter fraud. ACORN discovered that some casual staff where filling in bogus enrollments, and reported them to the police. But of course fox news reported that as ACORN COMMITTING VOTER FRAUD. Its like if I stole money from a bank and the news reported that as "BANK STEALS MONEY". Every investigation has found that ACORN has never helped anyone perpetrate sex crimes [the Californian DA foudn that FOX heavily edited and overdubbed] nor vote fraud.
@duckmonsterX that is not what some folks who worked the vote for Hillary said. they explicitly asserted voter fraud. I didn't even bring up fox, cause I get my news more internationally, and RT and the BBC have both reported on this.
@LeGioNoFZioN Why would we trust Hilarrys workers. They hated ACORN because of her losing the primaries. That does not detract from the facts of the case as confirmed by the police who investigated it. ACORN discovered workers defrauding them by collecting commisions for fake enrollments. Then ACORN reported it to the police. FOX news then lied and claimed that it was actually ACORN in trouble, which was never true. Unfortunately the other news repeated this without checking the documented facts
School choice? Shouldn't all schools be good schools? Maybe she should start fighting for better public schools than for having to choose her kids school. Charter schools are such bullshit. it's just another way for corporations to make money. Those schools are actually doing worse than the public schools.
Taking back your country? WHERE DID IT GO? Where were you 2 to 4 years ago? You don’t even know what you talking about you sound brain wash just like the rest of them!

@whoo689 Hard to sue for lost wages when you were doing volunteer work for free. ;)

LeGioNoFZioN 1 year ago
