Skyrim is primarily a 1st person "shooter" even though you can play in the 3rd person viewpoint. You can save your game at anytime and load a saved game at any time. When your character dies, you have to load a saved game.
Demon's Souls is strictly 3rd person and your actions are permanent. The game autosaves and you cannot "freeze the state" of gameplay at anytime.
They are two completely different games and even though i prefer Skyrim, DeS and DkS are awesome games.

This is hilarious, as someone who's beaten the game, because you can know what's going to happen about 15 seconds in. I'm just surprised you survived that flaying with that much health.

Thanks to this video, I had no trouble with the Octopus thingys. I knew to dodge the stun spell and was able to recognize the charge-up on the close-range spell. (I saw this video before I bought the game)
I just found a Talisman of god and a wooden catalyst you will find a Talisman in the first level which is the Boletarian Palace and you find the catalyst under the bridge in the second part of the Palace also why do you use the Heater shield the Kite shield is better and even better than that is the knights shield I use a magic sword +1 and the knights shield +3
@RickyForStation Beat it in 4 days (Friday-Monday). About 13 hours on my file. "Royalty" class was a great choice. Took me 3 tries to beat King Allant. Other than him and flamelurker, the bosses were extremely easy. This game was nowhere near as hard as everyone has made it out to be.
@DrHooligan312 have you played the next game in the same amount of time? new game + is harder and new game ++ is haaarder, try beating it 4 -5 times in that same amount of time... the first playthrough is a joke... the ones after that are when it gets unforgiving

It took me 32hrs to beat DS my first playthrough, and it took me 14hours to beat it my second playthrough. I also died less because I was much less of a dumbass xD.

On a second playthrough, make sure you've used the giant manta ray boss thing's soul for the anti magic field spell. Cast that and nobody can attack you with magic or use buffs. Not invading black phantoms or even those bastard squid wizards. They'll just shake their wand like its broken as you pummel 'em to death.
If you use magic on them (can't remember which spell I used..) and you hit them even after they've sent out their spell, it cancels theirs and you're safe from being attacked by them :P I hate them though ;_;
Thanks, you prepared me for it, haha. Pretty easy, though. Just use soul arrow until it reaches low HP and tries to charge you, just do a "heavy" attack when he does.

This game was a huge missed opportunity and the cheap difficulty and BS trial and error moments squandered a amazing game into a average one.

@SnugOFP Do you even understand what you're saying or do you spew bullshit 24/7? On what basis is this game bad? What makes this game shitty? It's combat system is smooth, fresh and well designed, the numerous amounts of items and weapons and armor allow for a god damn good amount of different builds, stat dependent builds, etc. Just because you're a little 14 year old bitch who cries at the first sign of a challenge doesn't mean the game is bad. On a second playthrough, make sure you've used the giant manta ray boss thing's soul for the anti magic field spell. Cast that and nobody can attack you with magic or use buffs. Not invading black phantoms or even those bastard squid wizards. They'll just shake their wand like its broken as you pummel 'em to death.

I'm pretty sure these things, black skeletons in Shrine of Storms plus the giant goblins in Valley of Defilement are THE WORST enemies in the game.

If you use magic on them (can't remember which spell I used..) and you hit them even after they've sent out their spell, it cancels theirs and you're safe from being attacked by them :P I hate them though ;_;

Thanks, you prepared me for it, haha. Pretty easy, though. Just use soul arrow until it reaches low HP and tries to charge you, just do a "heavy" attack when he does.
