When I watch Melanie first audition on my TV screen I had started to support her and I feel that she really inspire me. It felt so attracted with her voice, like some kind of powerful strength that she brought to my ears. She really deserved the win overall and I believe she will shine... I think, and this is just my opinion, that on paper she is doing everything she is suppose to do. She's hitting the notes, stays in key, etc. But in terms of emotional connection, it looks to me that she is not completely connected to the song, maybe because she hasn't experienced it or doesn't know how to handle her emotions completely, for her to trasmmit that into the song, idk, i just feel a lack of emotion.
