  • Ok fine after arguing and being a fatty e thug I went back a looked through it and compared it with the arrangement I used to enter the song in Milky Tracker I found that I had entered the lending melody wrong. And I checked the samples length that I had drawn and they are not 64 samples long like NeoVamp said they should be. Whatever

  • It's not the pitch, or the tune of the notes; the notes are simply *wrong*, the person who arranged it must have gotten it wrong, but you don't have to get all defensive.

  • Nice job. Chiptune creation is very time consuming, especially if you're remixing a previous composition.

  • awesome, i'll give millky tracker a try, this brings back memories....

  • SICK TUNE.

  • lastmovies4you (dot) com - here you can find it!

  • Could use some better mixing. Sounds a bit rough.

  • It was good dood but some note where off.

  • You Tube comments are generally full of cancer so I tend to abstain, but I'll throw in a little word of advice regarding tuning. You claim you couldn't tune the samples because you drew them by hand and had no way to tune them. Understanding a bit how audio works if you use a sample of one cycle and loop it the sample length will determine the pitch. Simply adjust the sample length to a known amount (eg. 64 samples = 'C') and you are "in tune". As long as you only draw one cycle you'll be good.

  • looks cool, does it support vst?

  • not that i no of, its still a great tracker

  • wow in the beginining it sounds similiar to the game but it kinda gets messed up at the end with the pitches still good job

  • What sort of shape are you drawing for the "clean" sounding beeps. Like the arpeggios in the background or the main melody? I;'m learning to use Milky Tracker and no matter what I draw I always end up with a sort of buzz. And yeah it is incredibly hard to draw the shapes with just a mouse. Does anyone know of a reliable way to make Chiptune techno without having to go find a Little Sound Dee Jay?

  • Um i dont really remember but I know that I experimented with some of the ones in this video, watch?v=-TYyDLElP4c. But i think i mostly used square and tri waves.

  • @GoombaThingMan Famitracker

  • it's good, except for the last 5-10 seconds

  • I just got FamiTracker this shit is hard as fuck but you make it sound easy hit me up

  • dude this is not FamiTracker, it's Milky Tracker.

  • Great job for a Milky Tracker song. The lead's a little off but Milky is tough to use. I'm still a major n00b at it :P.

  • dude milky tracker is a bitch to use and i think this is absolutely sick, don't listen to them wankers saying you got the notes wrong, who cares

  • DUDE thanks! At least someone knows whats up

  • Dude the notes are not wrong. I drew the sound samples freehand in milky so they aren't prefect and are out of tune. The instruments are wrong not the notes. I could redo it Madtracker but I really don't have the time or want to.

  • He's right -- a lot of the pitches are straight-up incorrect. Just because you got it from sheet music doesn't mean it's perfect.

On the whole, it is pretty good, but a lot of the pitches are wrong. Get all defensive now.

  • Alright so what most people arent getting are that the sounds/samples are wrong. I drew them freehand in the sample editor, no manipulate to tune them or whatever.

Go into milky tracker, draw a sample and see how in tune it is cuz I guarantee it wont be. DO IT RIGHT NOW. lol

  • To get a sample in tune it has to be a certain length. If you set the length to 32 then draw something it should be tuned to C. Setting the length to 64 will drop it an octave etc.

  • @Andrewinadoghat I think that you did INCREDIBLE! Bravo! I didn't know you could get sounds like that with Milky Tracker. Long Live Sonic!

  • I believe I got the right notes and that you don't know spelling or grammar. It's just the instruments that I used that make it sound a little off.

  • I tried not to sound like an ass telling you that the song could be better, but you managed to BE an ass and take criticism badly. Well, screw you and your wrong notes. PS: Your belief is wrong. Twice.

  • how are the notes wrong numbnuts, the real song may be in a different key but it doesnt mean that in this key the notes are wrong. lol "criticism"... point out some parts you think are wrong, that would be more along the lines of "criticism"

  • He's not saying they're in a different key, he's saying that they're actually wrong. And I /can/ hear some wrong notes. Overall, good.

  • teh notes aren't wrong for the last time. I made this from sheet music soo the person that arranged it might have gotten the wrong notes but I highly doubt it. This song sucks anyway since the sounds i drew suck ballzzzz and teh sound quality is lame. whatever continue teh bickering.

  • lol...andrew ure an asshole. agreed?

  • Um no I'm not. plus i just helped you in your other post.

  • well considering most videos are linked in some way shape or form and when you type in a search and relevant vids come up i would say ...a lot

  • dude its was just a question to the people who actually look up renoise on youtube....dont think your special because i posted on yours because u aint really........

  • What makes you think that people who look up renoise watch this video. I probably wouldn't since Milky Tracker is not renoise.

  • anyone know what happened to the mario jungle renoise someone made it just went missing ?

  • How the ballz would i know what happened to a video that i didnt upload!?!?!?

  • I've been wanting to make music like this!

    How did you do it?

I downloaded this program, but I dont know what to do.

I should find some tutorials to i guess.

  • I watched some tutorials and then i found the sheet music online and inputed it. It helped me relearn how to read music and hopeful soon ill start making my own.

  • Thats so cool!

Where did you find the sheet music?

I wonder if they had other games too

    weeeee

  • Well not to be a jerk but there is a thing called google and its very useful. Thats how i found all my sheet music. check out my other videos for some other songs.

  • haha yeah i definitly know

what google is, i just dont know what

    to search. like what keywords

  • um video game sheet music, not that hard to figure out.

  • Well thats obvious. But how would I go about putting that into the Milky Tracker program? Ive started using it for like..2 days. Im trying to find a guide for it or something but theres nothing

  • You use the keyboard, which in milky is like a piano keyboard oh and you have to import samples or make your own samples (basically sounds/instruments) then you have to turn the record mode on and then you can play in the notes like you would a piano but you have put the notes in the correct timing unless you have the song playing and then you just play them in.

  • I wan't the mp3 to this too.

    good work!

  • I need a mp3 of this!

  • Well if more people show interest in an mp3 of this then i might consider making one.

  • Andrew, maybe put an info in every vid how people can easily convert any mods to mp3 on their own, or link to such a site or something. There are many.

IMHO it's easier to just copy & paste a text than create an mp3 for every new mod. ;)

    Just a thought. Cool msx!!

  • Well if more people show interest in an mp3 of this then i might consider making one.

  • What are you on about, pachucasunrise24?

    Enjoying your copypastry? ;)

  • Well if more people show interest in an mp3 of this then i might consider making one.

  • lololololcats
