I like melbourne taxi drivers; From my experience, Indian students/cab drivers are hard working and polite.

They put up with heaps in their line of work, including racism.

@pbedw1 Polite?.. you must be kidding. Many of them try and rip off their customers by purposely not giving the correct change. Secondly,they often refuse fares for being too "short distance" because they are always after airport jobs or outer suburban jobs. And then you have them talking on their mobile while driving and not paying attention to the road. Most cabs nowadays have GPS in them because the Indians don't know Melbourne at all. In Europe,USA these guys wouldn't be allowed to drive.
