Longboarding is in the past. I dont really understand why people Longboard: the boards are more expensive its a hastle to long board so why long board. Short boards are cheaper and the world now revolves around shortboarding not longboarding.

Those reasons are all trivial. It's worth it to make a bit more effort to longboard to get that unique experience that only longboarding can give. I have been longboarding for 5 years and have never looked back. The feeling of noseriding through a critical section is something shortboarders never experience. Also, you can longboard whenever, wherever- I like to surf steep overhead waves as much as the next guy, but on a waist to chest high day, there is nothing better than logriding.
