Photoshop is refusing to open the DDS files even with the Nvidia plugin. (Rining windows 7 64 bit. Adobe photoshop CS4)

just download the sf4 asset explorer. it's much easier than the command line way. if you watch my model editing video it shows me using it.

Hey Yoshi. I cannot get offzip to work. I am following what you are doing in the vid but the command prompt doesnt open to so I go to run. I type in cmd.exe and command prompt opens. then I type in you typed in and nothing happens. All I get is this: offzip,exe is not reconnized as an internal or external command.

any suggestions please?

I have a problem with the skins. I dowloaded all the emz col or cos or whatever and backed up my originals and copied over the new ones but i still get only the original colours. What am i doing wrong? Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

I think you said this about Dragon but not offzip but make sure you rightclick offzip in vista/7 and then properties>run in admin, your screen might go black like mine at that point so press left arrow enter and it will press ok :) if not just press okay it.

cause it's already unzipped, just skip the offzip step

@hornyyoshi It didn't unzip it.. it just says "error: recheck your options, CMY_02_01.col.emz is not valid." I did one of Cammys skins... I followed the instructions to the letter, but that's what I got. There is no dat file anywhere... it didn't work.

@rfs5052 that usually means its already unzipped, try skipping to the dragonunpacker step or use piecemontees sf4 explorer

check the transparency tutorial on how to remove things and no you can't use the skirt on the second costume

you are try to unzipp a file that is already unzipped. skip offzip entirely and just rename your .emz to .dat and start from the dragon unpacker step

I'm stuck on the offzip section I'm using Mbison (dictator) I've typed in the right infomation but it comes up with the dude's email etc but the rest of the details won't show or the actual DAT file itself it comes up with errors.

are you sure the spaces are right? also when typeing "new folder" I was told to put a "_" between new and folder.

well my folder is newfolder so there is no spaces, if the name has a space you have to use a underscore, you rename that folder whatever you want btw. you might be trying to open a unzipped emz, try skipping to the dragonunpacker part or you might just try using the sf4assetexploer which is much easier to use.

I tried the sf4aexplr but it didn't work unless for some reason its not compatible with my system? but it should work since the audio mod I did before I got my hard drive wiped n lost the data my mod was going fine :S

I'll try other methods or offzip thing again later.

yeah, there is, use piecemontees sf4 asset explorer to extract and inject skins, its much easier than offzip but less handy
