yeah i know, but there may be that one kernal, but the show is for comedy. I watch it every now and then, it gives a a jist of whats going on but the guys are concerned with making people laugh, not necessarily telling the news. I like liberal viewers vids, just that one little fact makes me kinda mad.

Colbert is good at what he does. I listened it twice, once with a democratic pt of view and another with a republican. His tyrade can be seen as a joke underlying a sincere truth for republicans. For demcrats, it can be seen as a total ridicule of republicans.

The economy is not his fault? Well, partially. He took on an office that required him to run an entire nation, and all of the pros-and-cons of it.
The economy is in a tailspin due to greedy, apathetic business owners AND citizens, so it's partially their fault, and partially Bush's simply because if he couldn't handle the presidency, he never should've tried, especially a second time.
And I don't make excuses, I'm only 20, already on my way towards a higher education, so I'm not worried.

I only have a comment on tax this time.
What people fail to understand is that it really dosent matter how much one pays in personal income tax.Because over time the%of income a regular person gets to spend will"dictate"pricing on most stuff.
But of course that is on the long term,not the short term.Other way around doh,its the same with tax breaks...Stuff will just cost more after a while than it would,IF there where no tax breaks.Ironic.
Now,have about more tax for free health care?

have you noticed how time seems to repeat itself? starting from the depression, where the government was basically run by republicans? and do you remember how the economy died? took only 8 years. then, 50 years later, you guys get to run again, and lo and behold the economy dies again! thats not what i call stable. i call that deja vu. by the way, Obama is talking about what we need to fix in our economy, and what needs to change.while McCain wants to keep going and ignore the economy? uncool.
