idk i have the game and its pretty close to the real deal except his tele-punch needs to be a lil longer and the 2nd hit of the ex version is suppose to be an uppercut to launch the opponent in the air and u should add his throw where he throws opponent in air(no damage tho) just a setup move keep it up 4.5/5

Good job so far. When your done with him, you should some how work it in so that he says "you must defeat me to stand a chance". Now that I think about it, that's a false statement from ryu. Because if someone could defeat his master then ryu would really have no chance at all lol. Now if he did excel past gouken, then that would be something else.

pretty much the same yes. Gouken's master was Gotetsu, but ryu never spoke of him in the "you must defeat shen long to stand a chance" lol, and at the time they said "shen long" to indicate the dragon punch, so that's why you hear that lol. But ya for all intents and purposes, he's the same person.
Regarding the Hadouken; will it function like SF3 Urien's with 3 different angles and can delay up to 2 sec (SF4 Gouken kinda does) or 2 horizontal of different speeds and 1 diagonal. I think his EX.Hadouken is input dependent too.
Still pretty good over all; I have an idea for Goutetsu but I doubt Capcom would ever bring him out as playable.
lol there is another vid up from before just so you know. THe EX move to my knowledge will always fire one straight and then one up, mine does the same but at varying speeds, and is not delayable, this is done to mix up the opponent with never knowing what speed they will come out at.
My understanding on SF4 Gouken's Ex.Hadou is that it is button dependent and uses the 2 corresponding angles (like Urien's 3 specials) I'll check out your new vid

Just to let you know, now there's a released "Gouken" trailer for reference, showing some of his moves. Now his Hadouken can also be charged and this trailer shows off some of his grapples.
yup! ahead of you buddy, i just saw that trailor the other day, i already made his hadoukens chargable, and i put in my own version of one of this throws ^_^ the other one is gonna be really hard to make, i'll probably just use a throw he has already and then edit the way it works, that'll be much easier hehe. ryu would use his oro taught moves maybe in sf5 to defeat gouki alone.
well, you must remember there are THREE, sf3's, my only assumption is prior to the tournament (the first sf3 tournament), oro defeated ryu, and ryu went off to train with him, and he learned it in time to use it in the first sf3 tournament. That's what i'm assuming anyways lol.
glad you guys like him ^_^ I was informed earlier that dash canceling during the focus attack costs no meter, so that's been fixed, and i also added an "ink" effect to the focus attack, it's not as good as i hoped but it'll do for now heh.

Charecter looks awesome, I have a question for you about this, I recall seeing something on M.I about a addon for mugen characters so when you perform your special the camera moves in on that character is it possible to do the same since they do the same thing in SF4. Oh and I remember seeing have him do his hurricane kick in the air to move across the screen. Just saying if you're also taking some feedback on this, either way I can't wait for the release.
Ya, i already have that move done for him, i forgot to record it lol, the ex version is done also ^_^ I'm gonna have to look into the zooming effect, that'd really pwn if i could add that to him for his ultra :) He also has 2 counter attacks that i need to implament, all in good time :D
He will probably be release after sf4 comes out, but we will see, i need alot of technical imput about a few of his moves before i can release him hehe.

Dash punch EX is meant to launch them into the air :(
Backwards throw is a air launch that deals no damage but can be comboed.
EX and normal Counters and air parry from demon flip.
Ink animation for focus attacks.
Really like the flexibility of this character will be fun to check out, will be really fun if it's like SF4, looking forward to the finished product

This Gouken is real cool and all but just where can i get him?! I like the fact he's more balanced than the cheap Gouken that's a super-spamming and parrying monster.

you can't get this gouken yet lol, i haven't released him ^_^ i have another video to post once i get a new controller, there is SO much done to him now it's insane, it'll be like making a video of the final product instaed of an update video lol, but no matter, expect it soon as i can get a new controller, i think you will like it ^_^

pretty much the same yes. Gouken's master was Gotetsu, but ryu never spoke of him in the "you must defeat shen long to stand a chance" lol, and at the time they said "shen long" to indicate the dragon punch, so that's why you hear that lol. But ya for all intents and purposes, he's the same person.

Regarding the Hadouken; will it function like SF3 Urien's with 3 different angles and can delay up to 2 sec (SF4 Gouken kinda does) or 2 horizontal of different speeds and 1 diagonal. I think his EX.Hadouken is input dependent too.
Still pretty good over all; I have an idea for Goutetsu but I doubt Capcom would ever bring him out as playable.

lol there is another vid up from before just so you know. THe EX move to my knowledge will always fire one straight and then one up, mine does the same but at varying speeds, and is not delayable, this is done to mix up the opponent with never knowing what speed they will come out at.

My understanding on SF4 Gouken's Ex.Hadou is that it is button dependent and uses the 2 corresponding angles (like Urien's 3 specials) I'll check out your new vid

Just to let you know, now there's a released "Gouken" trailer for reference, showing some of his moves. Now his Hadouken can also be charged and this trailer shows off some of his grapples.
Looking forward to this version of Gouken.

yup! ahead of you buddy, i just saw that trailor the other day, i already made his hadoukens chargable, and i put in my own version of one of this throws ^_^ the other one is gonna be really hard to make, i'll probably just use a throw he has already and then edit the way it works, that'll be much easier hehe. But no fear, he's coming along great, in a few days i'll release a new vid showing all the new stuff he can do :D

ferget what i said its ryu whjo originated denjin hadouken.oro starts teaching him after 3rd strike and oro uses a completely different fighting style.btw if oro starts to teach ryu after 3s then how does it perform in 3s it-self??i've played all the street fighter games so i knw oro does'nt teach ryu the denjin.
ryu would use his oro taught moves maybe in sf5 to defeat gouki alone.

well, you must remember there are THREE, sf3's, my only assumption is prior to the tournament (the first sf3 tournament), oro defeated ryu, and ryu went off to train with him, and he learned it in time to use it in the first sf3 tournament. That's what i'm assuming anyways lol.

lol gouken doesn't have the denjin man, especially not in sf4 ^_^ Oro is the one that originally taught ryu the denjin anyways ;)
And i see that people really don't care much for the hadouken lol, i'll see what i can do about having a better one made ^_^

i watched a video where he did a shoryuken super.but it was'nt shin shoryuken and the shoryuken super caused a pillar of lightning.
so i just call it denjin shinryuken :P
anyways!
just a add another super with gives a pillar of lightning and multiple hits.

glad you guys like him ^_^ I was informed earlier that dash canceling during the focus attack costs no meter, so that's been fixed, and i also added an "ink" effect to the focus attack, it's not as good as i hoped but it'll do for now heh.
The Return is the name of the song, by Persuader.
I'm working on perfecting the Focus Attack, there's so many little things going on in it sigh.
And can anyone confirm if you can dash cancel from EX moves, and if so how do you do it ingame?

i posted the release time in the other comment. The release locations will include Mugen Infantry, Mugen guild, and a new site that isn't really well known yet, plus the inevitable warehousing that will occur lol, he'll be out in quite a few places, and i will of course let everyone know :)

Charecter looks awesome, I have a question for you about this, I recall seeing something on M.I about a addon for mugen characters so when you perform your special the camera moves in on that character is it possible to do the same since they do the same thing in SF4. Oh and I remember seeing have him do his hurricane kick in the air to move across the screen. Just saying if you're also taking some feedback on this, either way I can't wait for the release.

Ya, i already have that move done for him, i forgot to record it lol, the ex version is done also ^_^ I'm gonna have to look into the zooming effect, that'd really pwn if i could add that to him for his ultra :) He also has 2 counter attacks that i need to implament, all in good time :D
He will probably be release after sf4 comes out, but we will see, i need alot of technical imput about a few of his moves before i can release him hehe.

There isn't a game with Gouken in it except SF4 which has yet to be played publicly. So I don't think you'll find what you're looking for in 2008.
