Her positions are very ugly for a rhythmic gymnast. And this routine is boring. It looks like she came close to stumbling a couple of times. Vitrichenko, Petrova and Batyrchina were much better.

I am more familiar with this type of gymnastics than with today's. I started watching RG before 1992, and Serebrianskaya was already out there. For her time, she was boring, especially compared to Lukyanenko, Vitrichenko, Ogryzko, Gontar, and even the Viner gymnasts.

Before you call someone stupid, you should:

1) Make sure what you say is not even more stupid.

2) Learn how to spell "stupid".

When i did write a name "stupid", letters "y" and "u" is near to each other, so i could axcedently write both of them!

Nobody is perfecy! You should remember this, because even this gymnast wasn`t perfect, but if she wasn`t so good as you think, then why did she take the olympic gold? ;)

@segismundo77 I think it must be because at the time she was one of the prettiest in RG and unfairly got leeway because of it. Although I personally thought Maria Petrova was the most beautiful but people said I was weird.

@segismundo77 I'm with you. I think the reason the judges liked her so much is that she had really clean technique and terrific difficulty. That triple roll at the end was very impressive. But this was the only routine of hers that I actually liked. I still liked Vitrichenko's ball and ribbon above everyone else's and Batrychina's clubs routine was the best of the night, IMHO.
