  • Sure that's "The Abduction Club"

  • Thank you! :)

  • i have this song on my iTunes, so i just match them up and watch! i'm also learning some spanish at the same time!

  • whats the name of this song and who is it by?

  • It's called Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World and it's by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

  • Your time period video is one of the BEST on You Tube. You can tell there was a lot of effort and time put into it. It's a shame to just let it run without any musical score put to it. Even though the awesome song you previously put is now gone, couldn't you add another fitting piece to play with it? Please think it about it! thanks!

  • what's the film at 4:54-4:56?

    thank you for the video!

  • North and South (bbc, 2004)

  • at 4:53

  • ohh i love period dramas... thx for your video.

    !

  • GODDAMM WMG GRRRR!!!!!

  • I wish You Tube would stop with this USSR-style censorship of music!!

I love this video. Matthew McFaddyen (or whatever his name is) was a far superior Darcy to Colin Firth.

But just like the stupid myth that Margot Fonteyn was a great ballerina, the Colin Firth myth is never going to go away.

  • gag. way too much kissing involved.

other than that it was great. good music choice, just too many kissing scenes smushed together

  • lovely!

  • Very beautiful scenes of my favourite period drama, thank you!

And this version of Beatiful World is the best, so sensitive....

  • Magic world of beautiful movies! Thank you!

  • I'm a fan of period dramas and had seen most of those. I love Matthew Rhys from Brothers & Sisters and only discovered him in The Abduction Club because of YT. Thanks for including them in this video, He and Sophia are cute together, I knew her as Beth in the short lived Moonlight series.

  • Great video loony29! I tried to find other videos similar to this one, but none can compare to yours! I am so grateful you didn't add "Becoming Jane" to this video, it would have ruined it! Great song and nice movie shots! (I also love your video Tess Patience video) Superb!

  • Lovely video! Wht movie is on 00:49, with Justine Waddel, me and my mom loved her as Molly Gibson in Wives and daughters.

"Set during an era where law dictates that the eldest sons inherit family estates and younger siblings are left to either enter the priesthood or the military, young noblemen decide to take matters into their own hands by abducting the young heiresses and charming them for a night before releasing them to make their ultimate decision." • Looney dearest, what are you trying to do? Killing us softly, maybe ? As if "Regency Men" were not brilliant enough, here comes another excelleng video of yours. lady, you're certainly a pro. It can be an amateur's work. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

For providing some Colin Firth scenes, also ! And did i caught some glimpses of that HOT actor named Dougray Scott ? And Richard Armitage ofcourse....an all time favorite AND classic !

    Looney, you certainly ROCKS !!!

  • Sorry, i meant to say it can't be an amateur's work. And i do appreciate the Colin Firth moments from P&P moreover for you caught the happy moments of him which were not so often . Or as somebody else has already said " he's brooding, smouldering and generally firths all over the place" - which is true of course but when he smiles....*sigh* ah....those dimples of him.....the world seems brighter all of a sudden !!!

  • Thanks Margo3883 for your words; I agree with you, the smile of Colin Firth is marvellous. And yes, Dougray Scott apears in the video from Ever After;)

  • This is the BEST YOU TUBE VIDEO thanks for putting this together all my favorite movies and my favorite song. gracias!!
