  • These japanese players know the game inside out.

They know when a move connects,

    they know how to cross-up,

    they know how to mindgame,

they know what would be the best move in EVERY situation,

they know where you sleep at night.

    Wait...

  • @dinmamma333k that's just u being paranoid haha

  • @deicide666slayer lol what a bad joke xD

  • The name of these fucking videos is funny as fuck hahahahahaha

  • that yang has block strings from hell.

  • Yun vs chun

Chun vs Chun woot so interesting match !

  • they are!!

  • @isimorn u mean yang?

  • who is this green chun by the way?

  • turtling doesn't bother me that much... but when you suck at it... that's another story

  • Chun lis special reminds me of a gun firing bullets :P

  • same here lol

  • Definetly not first time USA gets OCV-ed.

  • Ko friend

  • Wow. Out-turtling Justin Wong. That was a funny match.

  • ummmm....owned !

  • um Chun is broken

  • wth is wong doing . ., .

  • jwong is such a turtle in this game...

  • who said anything about daigo.... i never said anything about him. jwong is one of the best if not the best mvc2 players and i like watching his matches but this is just boring to watch.

  • He's the best in the world at MvC2. I'd put money on him getting bored and quitting because there's only like two people who can compete with him.

  • This is partly true, The rest of it could be that there just isnt money in marvel anymore aside from money matches.

  • KO Friend hahaha

  • why is there so many people giving the usa players stick. i d like to see any of you do better.

  • Exactly. You can only play as well as your competition, and I guess it's hard for the top US players to improve cause they don't have regular competition against players of the quality of the Japanese pros.

I've never played the East Coast players, but I've been to FFA quite a bit and know a few of the pros there somewhat, and they're all really good players whom I respect and hope to be as good as.

  • because they suck

  • pyrolee is good. The rest are garbage. I saw ricky ortiz get his ass kicked by a remy recently. A chun li getting beasted by a remy?

Frankie3s isnt that great either. I beat him and that shouldnt happen cuz I suck.

  • amir was the best

  • it doesnt matter. anybody can beat anyone as long as youre decent/good player.

its about who is more consistent and overall better player.

  • @dkblade27 true just look at kuroda he beasts on pro players with low tiers all day that guy is probably the best 3rd strike player in the world

  • didnt frankie3s retire like 3 years ago?

  • yeah he retired many years ago but last i heard he still plays once in awhile.

  • mopreme jumped too much away from chun.

remember, true ryu players are fearless against chun.

  • don't think I've ever heard that one before.

everyone should be afraid of chun.

  • I guess he meant he shouldn't be so defensive? That'd make a little sense, altho' not entirely true.

  • i'm not sure justin wong actually knows how to land a super art at all, anyone can parry the last hit into a super art these days. Tbh it makes me laugh to see some idiot Chun-Li lose like a scrub while repeatedly ducking, dancing and waiting for their super art bar to fill

  • saddest ryu i've ever seen

  • I agree with you there buddy.

  • he was nervous and plus it was only one match buddy.

  • Chun mirror matches are ridiculous. It's like walking forwards and backwards and ducking and trying to psych out your opponent while trying to land Cr. MKxxSAII.

  • i had to doubletake when i saw you post >_>

i was like.... hey i never commented on this video before

  • GameFAQer? MSGB/MSSB?

  • yes

  • I'm Hypoglycemia. Took this name off a Stepmania song. Noticed the similarity afterwards. Most people seem to think I'm you as well.

  • can justin turtle wong play offensive?

  • Tokido?

  • owned, lol

  • Who is the green Chun-li, they are great

  • Who was the chun?

  • US East and West coast both get beasted and OCV'd in 4:44 minutes. Ahaha, coincidence?

  • KO Friend

  • KO Friend, haha

  • Japanese players>>>>>American players

  • another beasting

  • Lol at xrangerx.

  • damn... i__i

    haeuaehuaehueaahaeuea

  • Gawd did the japanese butcher their names LOL.

  • considering how overpowered chun is, US players dont got a chance against a japanese one. whats the highest placing in SBO for US players?

  • In SBO4, the highest that the US got was top 32 ... which also means that we did not win a match. At SBO3, the highest that the US got was top 16 ... which also means that we only won a match. That was done by the East Coast team, whom were beasted by Kuroda (Q). Remember, SBO is a single elimination. East Coast was 1 match away from being top 8 in SBO3. lol Oh well, maybe we'll place top 8 this year. >.>

  • i see. personally, i do not like single elimination. however, considering sbo 3s is never 1v1, sets w/ multiple players w/ would quite a while. i still dont like single elims though. yeah, here's to a great U.S. performance @ SBO 5. know anything about what happened at SBO 1 and 2? i never see anything on those. i vaguely remember Rock mentioning something about the 1st US SBO team on some ranbat video...

  • SBO uses the single elimination format because they only care about the winner. This is also why SBO never announce the second, third, or fourth place winners. It is because they are nonexistent. In SBO2, if I recall correctly, Pyrolee, Frankie3S, and Arlieth made it to top 8 and were defeated by Xiao, J, and Isse. I believe that SBO1 was a national event; however, do not quote me on that.

  • SBO1 also had international players. Don't quote me on this because I don't remember too well myself, but I think the very first US team for SBO was Paulee, Pyro and maybe Frankie3s.

  • I don't think Frankie was at SBO1. I believe it was Alex Valle.

  • I'll believe this.

  • yup, it was pyro, calipower, and paulee

  • LOL KO FRIEND

    Shit is great

  • They had nightmare's about ShiroKuro that night

  • damn our top U.S. players seem like nobodies for the japanese

  • the japanese are really just robots built by capcom to play 3rd strike

  • bye justin the turtle wong

  • Ahh Chun-li corner traps! JW gets out of the corner only to jump over to the other corner lol

  • ko friend is too good

  • KO "Friend"?? C'mon, English isn't THAT hard.

  • apparently, thirdstrike is though

  • Neither is following SRK rules, but hey, what are you gonna do?

    East coast sucks.

  • Who told you about that?

  • I'm a top player.

  • I was referring to the comment about SRK rules.

  • i'd expected justin wong to have some fighting chance, instead he got mowed down like some patch in grass

  • JW is a monster in 3S. what are you talking about?

  • Ummm...sure. That is, until he meets the cats from overseas. Justin's good at beating US players, and so everyone thinks he's just the shit. I'd say that Chun-Li player just told him to stay in school. You can't even say shit to me like, "Oh, Justin would beat your ass!" You're right; he could and has. I don't claim to be a badass 3rd Strike player, though. However, don't give him more credit than is due. He also just got his ass beat this year at SBO 6, so he can't be that monstrous.

  • making it to 2nd round = getting your ass beat? k...

  • Welp...2nd round out of how many??? lol My point is that it's true; Justin and crew made it to the second round this year. However, how many SBO's did it take them to finally accomplish this? 6. That's right, 6 years later they finally made it past round one. At this rate, the US will POSSIBLY make it to the finals in, like, SBO 27. So, umm...yes. Making it to the second round STILL, in my opinion = getting your ass beat. K?

  • I don't see the point in jerking someone off for mediocrity. I mean, that's like being a parent and applauding your child for bringing home a D+ and then being like, "Hey, at least it's not an F!" Why are you even talking about Justin as though he's one of the greatest players alive when Kuroda picked SBO apart with Akuma of all people?! It seems like you're perspective is a bit skewed. Justin picks top tier: knocked out 2nd round. Kuroda picks mid tier: goes on to win the tourney. lol

  • justin & ricky made it to the 3rd round at SBO3. Everyone focuses on the loss to kuroda since they love to hate justin. Justin has also beaten Nuki, Raoh, and Kokujin (and possibly other top jp players, that's just off the top of my head) at various Evos. Also, Akuma is high mid tier according to jp tiers. ggpo.

  • Eh, I don't really love Justin or hate him. I'm not really that concerned with the "politics" of gaming. I just recognize skill when I see it. Yes, Justin is a very skilled fighting gamer. However, I don't think that he's a monster Chun-Li player -- that's all. I think he has a very lather, rinse, repeat type of play style. I suppose if that wins tourneys, cool. I just don't think it's fair to call him a monster when he's never shown that he's good with anyone but Chun-Li.

  • I play Justin at ct fair sometimes and hes really good with other players too. ive seen him beast with akuma, elena, makoto, urien, and just recently with yang and had 50+ wins with him.

he just shows me how bad i am at 3s compared to really good players. and i thought i was good...

  • Justin gets a bad rap for always using top-tier chars in tournies. He also gets a bad rap for having historic losses captured on camera. Needless to say, using a top tier char and losing in tournaments a lot will definitely get you a bum rap regardless if you're good with any other chars.
