DavidSkis: man, in the video, there are three models. Basic (800EUR), Standard - it is basic model with computer, which especially ski school likes very much (1600EUR), and Professional. I thing, that you never tried this machine. It's about rhythm, balance, muscles in the legs, and correct position of the feet and body.

Holy crap - their standard model is $2100! I wouldn't spend that much money to "ski" (ie bob from side to side) like the people in this video. their stance is all wrong - particularly when using poles - and it looks like it's because of the machine design.

This is the best overview of the Pro Ski Simulator models and the training methods yet! This is a great demonstration of how effective ski simulation training can be for skiers (and even snowboarders) at every skill level - ranging from professional racers, extreme skiers/boarders, advanced to intermediates and is even a great tool for teaching muscle memory techniques to beginners (which accelerates their on-slope learning). Fantastic overview!
