Another example of how screwed up the USA has become under Bush. They let business do whatever it wants and everything begins to fall apart.

As an AA employee, we had to ferry (without passengers) to DFW to park the MD-80 at the hanger (Jiffy Lube for airplanes). The mechanics showed us the problem. It was a 5 minute fix, and no FAA inspector to be found. 10 aircraft waiting around for the FAA. Another goverment agency, that our tax dollars are going to. It's CYA for the FAA. In the mean time, from all of us worker bees at AA....WE ARE SO SORRY! PLEASE COME BACK!

Something sahky is going on and I don't think it is all about safety. We are being fed that it is a safety conern. If we open our minds and think outside the box they draw for us we might figure it out. If someone has not already done so. Just not trusting anything "they" say anymore!

The FAA mandates a specific spacing of the nylon tiewraps bundling the wiring harnesses together. With three airlines going belly up last week along with this maintenance crackdown, that some claim borders on chicken shit, air travel is becoming hit or miss.
