Anybody know the story about windows vista home premium and why absynth 5 doesnt work with it? And what computer will i need to actually get absynth 5? also i dont need any other software to work with all i need is absynth because iv got a non software recorder at home, someone pleaaaase help :)

My pc crashed(again) so im making a switch to Mac,all of my plugs say on the requirments mac:osx 10.4..

The mac im buying is 10.5,will there be a issue trying to install my software?????

The plug-ins should run on 10.5, but you should go to the manufacturers sites to see if there are version upgrades available.

The AB fiur is great for newage and spaced OUT sounds. This is the kind of genre I like and produce.

There's a tradeoff between sound quality and ease of use. I prefer digital for the cold digital sounds. Wavestation plug vs actual wavestation, plug wins. MS-20 on the otherhand, I'll take real oscilators any day. But oh yeah, I gotta layer for polyphony...

Hi, Im new to softsynths and considering absynth 4 as a start but Is a simple midi controller like your oxygen all you need to start manipulating and using the absynth program and samples. In case you kno anything of it I would be using a m audio trigger finger as the midi controller. Also how does the interface stup and stuff work once absynth is installed? thanks .peace

I believe they're part of the presets that came with Absynth 3. I see a bunch of "HS" patches in the bank called "Factory Presets V2.glo"
