What I believe is that there is such an abundance of Doors footage; poetry, recorded work etc etc that a biographic film cannot compete with or ever hope to crystalise out without a truly great director ( i.e. one that Morisson, himself a film fanatic, would have respected). Oliver Stone was not the man for the job. Stone's aggrandisement of Morisson missed the human aspect by a great degree. Also fun is absent and some of the wigs look shit !

No. She didn't get any of his estate, and as far as I know she never sought any of it. I think she was just speaking for herself by saying that she was married to Jim. It was a ceremony that he participated in willingly, so why shouldn't she say she was his wife?
Pamela Courson got all of Jim's estate because he left her in his will. After she died, there was some wrangling in court between Jim's family and her family. When it was settled, Jim's family got the estate.

None of you mention that Jim was anti heroin and didnt like Pam doing it. Its obvious that she played a signifigant role in his death, couldnt handle the guilt.
