It may sound strange, but in this version you nearly seem to come closer to the lyrics than - sorry Jewel! - jewel herself. Why? As far as I can see, these lyrics were inspired by the spiritual influence of her mother (as well as those from "Hands"), but on stage J. plays a bit with the superiority of her voice registers (you can hear at least 5-7) and therefore is in danger to loose a bit the seriousness of the text.-

jewel's very clever and has got an opera singer education. In some singing and dance traditions of (south) India you slip into animals for expression purpose. jewel does a cat sometimes. nice your camera is fixed will produce some lucky guys :) ! hey how do you pick and strum to this song...and amazing! What's your pattern you use!

Hey ferratFace!! The chords are Am, C, G, ,D..the trick is to pick and strum e.g. on the Am chord pluck the bass note then strum the chord then pluck the 2nd string twice pulling off on the first note...it's the same for all the chords...it's really hard to explain unless I had it in tab. Check out jewel playing it in one of her vids...and you'll see what I mean....I hope this helps :-)

The thing is we cant just ignore it anymore like we did in the past, It is now effecting our everyday life...It's definitely a wakeup call. What is your opinion???

You got it :)! It's true that whether there R humans here on earth or not the climate will change from 1 extreme to another. The difference is that humans have accelerated that change. Current estimates is that we've pumped over 270 billion tons of CO2 (greenhouse gases) into the atmosphere -- some effects of that are higher respiratory illness & acid rain. More & more people R heeding the wakeup call finally. I'll send U a short read about a concept related to it, take your time.:)
