that was really well done, you never realise how complex the board is until you get it explained to you by a deep voice over, apparently though, most of the games out on ps3 now still only use 1 processor, by the time it uses all of them, the ps3 would be able to play the game flawlessly, make toasted cheese sandwiches perfectly, and kiss you goodnight....the ps3 owns.

Big problem though, check out the end results of the console battles. If Xbox was the graphics of the last gen and Gamecube the affordable one PS2 was the balance. which one won and had the most exclusive titles? The balance did, selling 5 times that of all the other consoles and over twice as much as them both combines. The Xbox had the graphics but people couldn't afford it and it lost the games; therefore, losing the battle. Now PS3 has made the mistake that the 360 did.
I like the PS3. I'm glad Sony release this console later then the 360 and Wii. What did they was learn from your enemies, I think Sony combined the graphicness of teh 360 with the action wireless style of the Wii and you'll get the PS3.
The xbox was so much stronger than the ps2, and now the ps3 is better than the xbox 360, pretty cool. I think that the xbox 360 is crap (much better than the old 1 but its not a revolution, i have played loads of ps3 games and they aint great (they're pretty crap actualy, sorry ps3 fans) they just focus on graphics and physics not gameplay, xbox 360 focuses on gameplay (dead rising). If i was forced at gunpoint to buy a next get gamesconsole i would buy the wii (i love the internet woot!).

I've done my research and talked over it with many people who study hardware and game designing, they have to study next gen consoles. The PS3 has a processor is powerful, it can process CGI movies in real time. The graphics card and other hardware that actualy renders it can't though, its not much better than a 360's graphics.
The processor in the Ps3 (cell) is better than the Xbox360 processor
but to battle this Xbox has a Custom Built Grahpics card. .. ....see this is why when you look at games like Gears of war,Great! graphics but only like 10 man fighting each other...lol

Hahaha is there no mature gamer out there, I use to be addicted to the orginial playstation but then i relised that the 1st xbox has greater graphics and power then the ps2 now a new generation is out and the tables have turned, the ps3 has a great graphic drive and cells but it takes more then cells and graphics to make a good game its a storyline and the gameplay, without that the game is useless so the only way to determine which is better depends on the player.

My Xbox 360 is not revoluntionary in any way and is certaniy not reliable, it crashes all the time. The Wii might have been cool to an 8-year-old in 2000, but today a new console needs HD for me to consider it more than a baby's toy.
The only console I've ever had trouble with is the Xbox 360, my PS3 works beautifully with no flaws, and it certainly can handle everything in these commercials (Resistance is a real game, you know)

The remote control that is so revolutionary for the ps3 is 1999 technology. I was only refering to the fact that its a portable unit that looks cool. Not its functionality. You have to remember that for years the portable market was dead other than gameboy.. it was nice to have a change. What load up noise? Mine doesnt do that @_@. Its weight doesnt bother me. And I dont listen to music with it. lol are you sure you have one? It can do a lot more than just listen to music. Its a neat little unit.
for sure i dont have one, but my fren had one, and i was not impressed when i played it at his home. he use an UMD to play his game, and the loading noice was terrible. are u sure you arent using a momery stick for ur game ;). and other then the large screen and power, i dont see any other good point about that, my fren had it for 2 months then traded it for a NDS, and he is a happy bunny now

I see your point about the fanboys, but we have to learn to ignore them. About the bottleneck, I thought about that too, but the guys at Nvidia that make the gfx card say it's no problem and that they can use all the memory of the system for games at any time (not just half), so 512Mb is not that bad, not that bad at all.

Big problem though, check out the end results of the console battles. If Xbox was the graphics of the last gen and Gamecube the affordable one PS2 was the balance. which one won and had the most exclusive titles? The balance did, selling 5 times that of all the other consoles and over twice as much as them both combines. The Xbox had the graphics but people couldn't afford it and it lost the games; therefore, losing the battle. Now PS3 has made the mistake that the 360 did.

I like the PS3. I'm glad Sony release this console later then the 360 and Wii. What did they was learn from your enemies, I think Sony combined the graphicness of teh 360 with the action wireless style of the Wii and you'll get the PS3.

The xbox was so much stronger than the ps2, and now the ps3 is better than the xbox 360, pretty cool. I think that the xbox 360 is crap (much better than the old 1 but its not a revolution, i have played loads of ps3 games and they aint great (they're pretty crap actualy, sorry ps3 fans) they just focus on graphics and physics not gameplay, xbox 360 focuses on gameplay (dead rising). If i was forced at gunpoint to buy a next get gamesconsole i would buy the wii (i love the internet woot!).

In my opionion the Xbox and PS2 were no diffrent, games were the same, Xbox was better for its interface and Xbox live.

WOW after reading what most of you said you guys make me cry. First off PS3 isn't really original is it? So I wouldn't be a douche bag about the Xbox'360'.
I've done my research and talked over it with many people who study hardware and game designing, they have to study next gen consoles. The PS3 has a processor is powerful, it can process CGI movies in real time. The graphics card and other hardware that actualy renders it can't though, its not much better than a 360's graphics.

The processor in the Ps3 (cell) is better than the Xbox360 processor
but to battle this Xbox has a Custom Built Grahpics card. .. ....see this is why when you look at games like Gears of war,Great! graphics but only like 10 man fighting each other...lol
then ps3 has WarHawk .. . Shit graphics but 200 ships vs like 300 ships with some of those wierd big things

To reply to what you don't know, Its 5 a month, or 50 a year. Then we got N3 which has way more enemies fighting, Huxley which plans to be a MMO with battle fields filled to about 400-600 people and AI.

Hahaha is there no mature gamer out there, I use to be addicted to the orginial playstation but then i relised that the 1st xbox has greater graphics and power then the ps2 now a new generation is out and the tables have turned, the ps3 has a great graphic drive and cells but it takes more then cells and graphics to make a good game its a storyline and the gameplay, without that the game is useless so the only way to determine which is better depends on the player.

the truth is that they can not tell how powerful the processor is because it will take a while for them to get the games to their full potential 360 has been out awhile and ps3 has been like a few months so they still have a whole lot of time to figure out ibm's card

My Xbox 360 is not revoluntionary in any way and is certaniy not reliable, it crashes all the time. The Wii might have been cool to an 8-year-old in 2000, but today a new console needs HD for me to consider it more than a baby's toy.

The only console I've ever had trouble with is the Xbox 360, my PS3 works beautifully with no flaws, and it certainly can handle everything in these commercials (Resistance is a real game, you know)

It docent mutters how much speed it haves it all come to the games.
The last gen. systems XBOX was better in speed then the PS2, but the PS2 has better games.
I like the RPG on PlayStation (final fantasy) but XBOX 360 is the king in online playing.

The remote control that is so revolutionary for the ps3 is 1999 technology. Oh wait, except the 1999 controller for the ps1 has the vibration sensor too. =/ I dno I just think sony could have done better on this. Kudos to the PSP its awesome. This consol is just lacking though. I will have more fun with the wii i think this time around. Sonny didnt do enough to keep my business this time.

how awesome is psp? is it the loading noise is louder then the game music while loading? the weight so it makes ur arms sore for playing on it, and you would rather take ur ipod for music? or the large screen, that eatup ur battery like no tommorow? you have to buy ur favorite umd movies to play on it, so it ended up have 2 copies of the same movies? wow, the psp is amazing---ly crap

I was only refering to the fact that its a portable unit that looks cool. Not its functionality. You have to remember that for years the portable market was dead other than gameboy.. it was nice to have a change. What load up noise? Mine doesnt do that @_@. Its weight doesnt bother me. And I dont listen to music with it. lol are you sure you have one? It can do a lot more than just listen to music. Its a neat little unit.

for sure i dont have one, but my fren had one, and i was not impressed when i played it at his home. he use an UMD to play his game, and the loading noice was terrible. are u sure you arent using a momery stick for ur game ;). and other then the large screen and power, i dont see any other good point about that, my fren had it for 2 months then traded it for a NDS, and he is a happy bunny now

I see your point about the fanboys, but we have to learn to ignore them. About the bottleneck, I thought about that too, but the guys at Nvidia that make the gfx card say it's no problem and that they can use all the memory of the system for games at any time (not just half), so 512Mb is not that bad, not that bad at all.
