ALMOST Meeting Adam Lambert - Dallas, TX - July 23, 2009 :-(

I was in the same group of people he walked away from... but I was closer I think cause I saw him most the time signing. and holy crap, my parents drove all the way to houston so we could see him too!!! I was so sad/happy that day. it was awesome seeing him in concert but was so close to meeting him... ...and yes i cried too... terrible... awesome.. tragic day. haha

You poor thing, I know how you feel. I was on that side and then moved around to the other side - wrong side. I never even saw Adam and I was one of the ones chanting "A-dam! A-dam!" I drove 300 miles to see him, but I understand others flew in to see Adam and a couple of the others as well. Right-"next time..." Sure hope he comes to Texas next year on tour. It will be awesome! Still hope to get an autograph some day and hand shake (though a big smooch would be heaven).

Well I was one of those SAD souls on the other side who waited all day to get his autograph!!! I got all the idols pics and autographs EXCEPT the one I was there for!!! Danny And Kris were Super Sweet Though.....and hot!!!

I went to the concert! Adam was amazingggg :D of course :) I wish i couldve met him! :( Im waiting for his solo tour.. i want to see ADAM..just adam :) Love the others..but adam is my fav.! :)

You are lucky you got to see him! we waited outside in 113 degree heat (in Glendale) hoping he'd come out. The only one to come outside was Michael Sarver and we got his autograph and pic. He was really sweet and polite and it was nice of him to brave the heat! There'll be another time for us to actually meet him, I'm sure!

don't worry u will get other opportunities to meet him. I didn't even go to the tour and i'm waiting fo his solo one . I hope it doesn't take that long!

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me in Portland, but it was before the concert. He came out but couldn't get to all of us before he had to go back in to a press conference. I've resigned myself to never actually meeting him, but maybe someday, since I do plan to go to his solo concert.

That's awesome. At least you got that close to him which is a lot more than most of us do that don't even get to go to the shows. He does seem to get upset when they make him leave. I'll be looking for the rest of your videos.

Actually, I kind of feel sorry for Adam... most performers don't have to go outside to sign autographs after a show, they just perform their asses off, which Adam does every night. He's only ONE person, it seems everyone want a piece of him. It's too much.

I also went to the concert but didnt feel like staying after to watch them all come out. What time did all the idols eventually come outside?

Um...Not exactly sure, but I think the first few came out around 11:20? Maybe. And then every few minutes someone else would come out. Adam came out last, and they had to leave at midnight. He probably had about 10 minutes when he came outside.

omg sailorscout! i was crying so hard, i was sooooo excited 2 meet him. i was on the side too, i didnt even see him but i heard he was out and i was waiting then they go "he had to go in" and i was soooooo mad!

At least you kind of got to see him. I didn't get to see him at all. The people on the side I was on were so disapointed including myself. I just hope that next time he comes to Dallas I get to get his autograph. I knew he had to be disapointed he didn't get to see everyone.
