Nevermind telescope surveillance, there are motion activated cameras and alarms on the approach trails. Illegal pieces for sale have been found and prosecuted as far away as California!

Ive heard this is the most guarded fossil site in the world .This fossil site is watched 24 hours a day . If you visit you have a pocket check after the visit .When no one is there it is under telescope surveillance by park staff !
