i need to watch more films from the 60s. This looks hilarious. I am a big fan of shirley mcclaine films like sweet charity and jerry lewis comedies so i am sure i will love this one.
1 question in the midle of the film ,there is a scenne of boats on the the river thymes ,there is a well known instrumental song ,i dont remenber the name ,please help
sammy davis jr -walks away with the movie--yes indeed! but the other--what's its face is a fake and awful! he better had stayed married to pat kennedy!
Donner does not acknowledge the three features he directed in the 60's (X-15, Salt & Pepper and Lola). He considers The Omen (1976) his feature debut.
What a shame. I hate when some folks are ashamed of some minor work they've done in the past...though I've never got to see this swingin' 60s spy romp, it sure does not look like something to be ashamed of.
That's my mom, Anne Worrall (Shukri) in the movie...she has the line "sir, you've gone over". She is an ex playboy bunny. Pretty cool that I could find this.
"Funny perhaps, but Sammy was a true renaissance man - he could even to rope and pistol tricks."..I have no doubt. They don't play enough of his movies on television. Which is a crying shame.

It spawned a sequel 2 years later, so this movie was somewhat of a commercial success in 1968.

Richard Donner later directed the Lethal Weapon films, the first Superman film (1978) and 16 Blocks.
