@shawndrums05 those are Sabian Paragons , Sabian decided that Neil Peart needed to many cymbals to just give him some Vault series so they made an entire new line for him called the Paragons. They've got gold logos that are pretty faint and Neil Pearts sig. on the inside of the bell. I've got 2 of them right now and they're awesome but they'll cost you a pretty penny

@Ajbox303 You're right to a certain extent. I mean what type of music you typically play will influence your setup a lot too. Or when you first start playing. I mean if you're a new starting out punk drummer you're probably not going to play with all kinds of percussion toys and tambourines and things like that. But if you're starting out playing pop or something like that you may have some of that kind of stuff. You see what I'm saying?

the electro voice re-20 is a broadcast mic used for bass drum. sm7b is also a great rock vocal mic. especially for scream/growls, it picks it up very well.

ok well im a beginner at the drumming stuff i just want to know. how do you get your right hand to not hit the same bet as your right leg. you know what im sayin??? like you want to hit the cymbal and then as your just get done hitting it you want to like hit the kick on the opposite beat?

practice bro and you gotta trust that ur right hand is gonna stay on the beat you want and then focus on ur foot

@Ryator08 practice and lots of it, i think ur trying to learn how to kick the bass drum on the off beat, learn to do a double kick first and then u will be able to do it no problem. a pattern for learnin the double kick, hit the hi hat with ur right hand, then hit it again but with a beat on ur kick drum, then the next beat just kick ur bass drum, then hit ur hi hat by itself, and then ur hi hat and snare. practice that in 4/4 timing with he third beat as an off beat, u will hav it in no time :D

They are, he still uses Meinl hi-hats. But his main crash is a Sabian Paragon. As for the other crashes... either Sabian or Zildjian. Definitely not Meinl.

I love this setup. Probably the best setup for these kinds of songs. Large crash cymbals works good enough as a ride for these kinds of songs. :)
