Hi i have e6750 on 3.8 ghz Prime 95 stable with 1.5120 volt and ram on 1.5 its dd3 ram from geil :D

The e6750 was and is one the best oc cpu, it was a best buy 2 years ago, and even now is a powerfull cpu in gaming and in oc! With good ram it can do even 4Ghz! O.o

got my FSB@460 with no prob at all,completely stable.

Tested with prime 95 for ages with no probs,super pi shows between 15.5-16.5 for a 1M test.OCZ Gold 6400 4gb cpu on water.Rams holding me back on going futher at the mo,pah......

460 is stupid, you have 3.68Ghz, and like 1-2% improvement from 450 (3,60Ghz)... and the ram @ 920 aren't good at all! Put FSB tu 450 it's better even for the memory @ 900!! ;)

Yup i now backed down my config as i did notice that i suffering a performance loss over 450fsb.

Was actually stable in p95 etc but overall was slower to use.

Got e8500 now so im playing with that and i gota say using my same 800mhz ram im not getting that much of a massive jump up in performance appart from gta4.

I did excatly what you did but my computer kept on crashing. And i updated my bios to the latest version so its a bit different than yours. Can you help me still? I got it to 3.2 Ghz not stable though. I dont know why thats happening since its not hard to overclock it to that much. Any help would be nice.

Ram @ 800Mhz, vcore @ 1.35 and it will run stable! However soon i will do a second video, 3.5Ghz! And i've the new bios!

oo... and you have to put FSB Strap to 400Mhz with the new bios!

follow this exact video, but only change the fsb to 400, and the vram frequency to 800mhz, simple.

no need for voltage changes - this will just increase heat and stress on the cpu

e6750 is capable of 3.4ghz on stock by increasing fsb to 425

ive got an e6750 and a p5k, these settings work fine for me.

on 3.4Ghz i have the stock vcore! On 3.2 i have the cpu downvoltated! on 3.5 it needs 1.38 ( and because the P5K has a lot of Vdrop, you have to set 1.41, that i s1.38v!!) Bye Bye

Awesome. I have the tests running and everything seems to be working fine so far. But the temps are running as high as 60 when im doing the Prime 95 test. Secondly, in my bios the Vram Frequency is 801 Mhz not 800... is that okay or am i doing something wrong?

I have pretty much the same setup(check my channel) but i overclocked the cpu only on 3.1 .. so my question is it safe to overclock what you did with stock cpu cooler.. i bought new for gpu but for cpu io think .. and is it brake faster the cpu if you make an extreme overclocking?

put  a great cpu cooler aftermarket and @ 3.6Ghz you will be fine! @ 3.2Ghz it lasta little more, so is better @ 3.6 ;)

on 3.6Ghz it needs like 1.40/1.41v :D

so when i hit 3.6 my computer crash..

Thats where i stuck.. i don't know what voltage to change...i changed some thing and my comp didn't boot... and when i put the freq. to 444 its don't boot either :(..

i don't know what to chnage next...

now i'm stable on 3.2..

lol, dont put fsb to 444, u need 400 for 3.2ghz , leave the voltage to stock, if it doesnt boot after that, set vram frequency to 800mhz.

Yes! Put the CPU to 450Mhz of fsb, 1066Mhz ram, vcore 1.4, nb volt 1.4! So you have 3.6Ghz on the e6750!

333*8 = 2.66Ghz

400*8= 3.2Ghz

So you have an Intel Core 2 Duo e6600?? 2.4Ghz! You have to do the same in the video, but put the fsb to 333Mhz, that is 333*9=3Ghz or 400Mhz, is 400*8, is 3.2Ghz, with 9 is 3.6Ghz but it's too much for you. So put the fsb to 333 and multi at 9, if you have ddr2 667, if you have ddr2 800 put 400 on the fsb and 8 on the multi!!

You have to download the Asus Update software and the new bios in the asus support site. Than instal the software, select update bios from file, select the new bios. A few minutes and you are done!!

Try to change the paste on the cpu cooler! But what CPU have you? Cause the e6750 has a vid of 1.350, and mine is @ 1.325! Max temp 51°, my cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper TX2 (20 $)! Maybe you have overclock it too much!

So you put the FSB to 400 and the multi to 8! Well a quad core is hotter than a dual core, but 70° it's too much... Probably you have the stock cooler!

Try update the bios... However you have to set all the option in CPU Configuration on Disable, but not the Execute Bit ( in the video is show) and the CPU ratio setting on 8! Than in JumpFree Configuration set manual in overclock tuner and than you can overclock! It's all in the video!

No there isn't any bios configuration file! Beacuse all PC is different! You have ti have only a good experience with CPU and a very good Knowledge of the hardware! :P
