The oil reserves that have been auctioned by the oil minister in Iraq have mostly gone to foreign companies, American companies were generally not the winners. Again, If you would like I can provide you with quotes, dates, etc. of various members of the US government, Republican and Democrat, making the WMD arguement and pointing to the intellegence programs BEFORE George W. Bush took office. I CAN provide you with William Jefferson Clinton and Al Gore quotes, again from BEFORE Bush took office, where they make the same arguements for WMDs and again, point to the intellegence.
Ritter has been all over the field when it comes to Iraqi WMD.

Those quotes from Ritter, if they are accurate, were, I believe, prior to Hussein Kamal's defection to Jordan & subsequent debriefing by US & Israeli intelligence. Hussein Kamal was Saddam's brother in law or possibly son in law (I've read both) who was the head of his WMD programs including his nuke program. He defected with CRATES of documents proving that ALL of the WMD were gone, that the nuke program was dismantled, all on the orders of Hussein himself. We was returned to Iraq where he was

arrested & executed. See what Ritter had to say about him. And, yes, I'd have to say that what Ritter was saying in 2002 was MUCH more accurate than what he was saying in 1998. Four years & many, many more months spent on the ground, in Iraq, following intel leads from the US, UK & Israel along with the revelations by Kamal, told him that there were no WMD. In fact, we had documented proof that at least 95% was destroyed! The whole war was based on the fact that IRaq did not have DOCUMENTATION

I'm asking for ANYONE to provide me PROOF that the Bush Administration KNEW CONCLUSIVELY that Iraq was disarmed.
Look at what MOST of the intellegence agencies THROUGH-OUT the world were saying about Iraq. It wasn't just us.
If the Intellegence was wrong, then it's the Intellegence Agencies that you need to look at here.
EVERYONE made the claim and pointed to the intellegence. Democrats with access to the intellegence voted for the war. Did they do so because they took Bush's word?
